Subject: RE: What do you drink on a sprint?In a sprint at MAX I do a bottle of flavored drink and that's about it. Not a whole lot will actually digest during the event, preparation is key, but as it was said above, it can stimulate your system into using up more of the stored glycogen before getting shocked enough to shut down using it. Not nearly long enough to get dehydrated either, but it can help mentally when your mouth gets a bit dry as well. Run, nothing. |
