However uncomfortable that call was I know I've done the right thing. Thanks BT for the advice!!! . Keep us updated of any backlash. It would appear they will do it as a matter of every day procedure, I'm not involved at all - right now! Do you know, the backlash is irrelevant. What's important is that the little girl doesn't get another bruise, or worse. That is all that matters. I was thinking about this and wondering if he has done this to the little 4 yr old girl, what are the odds that he has or hasn't done something similar to his wife? |

From my experience, nearly 100% that he has. |

Who knows....he is aggressive by nature, with the physical abuse aimed at furniture, the dog , punching holes in walls that kind of thing....which is just as abusive in my book. |

Extreme Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() have you considered how you will handle him doing your renovations in your home now that it's been reported? besides removing him from the job on priciple, i'd consider your options on removing him from the job knowing that he may find out that it was you that reported him. i'd imagine that kind of news won't sit well with someone like that. i'm not just talking about physically, but also financially...considering you may have already paid him for work that may/not already been done. |

The kid probably isn't that accident prone. Probably best to keep your kid at your house, and not let him/her go over anymore. Glad you reported it. Good job! \ |

Master ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Tough spot Jo! For what it's worth, I think you did the right thing. I can't imagine having to report a friend like that, but the childrens' welfare is most important. I hope you can find a good solution for A and her friend(s). |

Yeah any visits to their place for play dates, will be as a family though I'm gonna be putting some distance between us now - lucky I'm always busy training it won't look strange! I'm so glad I asked the question on here because I probably would have talked myself out of it otherwise. |

Elite ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Thanks! Finally told my husband too that I'd reported it and once I'd shared everyone's thoughts from here he got it. He's also worried its been going on a while so we are now in 'watch and learn' mode! |
