37.8 today which gives me 286.93.  413.07 to go.  Taking yesterday and going easy this weekend hurt me.

Crap, I was sick all weekend, no riding whatsoever, managed to squeeze in a whopping 10 miles yesterday, man I have some serious catching up to do. Time to hit the bike, I believe I have about 592 miles left now!!! Time to put my money where my mouth is.

29 hard miles this afternoon. Legs felt like lead, only averaged 17.3 and brings mileage up to 405. The good news is less than 300 to go!!

With the TT and WU/CD yesterday, I'm at 273.2 miles, already above the mileage for all of June. Really needed this incentive to get out and ride, I know I would have blown off several rides without the challenge.

39 miles today makes 469 for the month, only 231 to go. This challenge has REALLY helped me to get some miles in. Previous best in one month around 230.

Subject: Weekend Plans

(If I put them in writing, I just might stick to them)

Plan is to ride 30 today, 40 tomorrow, and, including my race, 50 miles Sunday. That will put me at 450, needing 250, with 14 days to go. I know I heve evening meetings scheduled two of those days, so I'll still have to average over 20 per day for the rest of the month and hope for no rainouts.

Just hit 501 miles yesterday, 199 to go. Cutting back now, steady 19 planned for today then 13 tommorow at Clarke Lake triathlon. Back to work Monday so mileage will drop like a stone, glad I got the miles in up front.

244 miles down for the month, I missed most of my a lot of bike milage this week with some chest congestion so I don't think that I will be making it, bummer. I am still going to press on and see what I can do, should be able to break the 600 mark.

Add another 30.11 today. Brings it to 400.9 down. 299.1 left to go!!!! I don't know about anyone else but i don't know if I am going to make it. It will be close though. I mean a couple days of rain, an injury, a sickness, and there goes 700 down the drain. I do feel better after getting under 300 today though.

Just hit 540 today leaving 160 to go. Also fell off bike in the process, leaving several layers of skin on the tarmac. Ouch! Sweaty left hand slipped of bars while taking a drink. From now on I will always wear gloves on EVERY ride. Up to now I was wearing gloves on road and MTB, but going bare handed on tri bike. Not any more, a painful lesson learned.

Ugh... Well if I can get off my tush and into the saddle in this heat, I'll do 40 tonight, which will put me at 250 for the month. Not on track, as I am still about 100 miles off of what I planned. I'll have to make it up somewhere.

Ouch!  That hurts!  I haven't worn gloves since clipping on my aero bars.  I did tape them b/c they were a little slippery. maybe try that?

Bike: 19h 57m 28s - 383.55 Mi

75 today - my longest ride ever.

On track (barely!!)
