Robyn, all;

I'm doing the spreadsheet for this and the teams are made up as I input new names.  I'm pretty busy right now at work and hope to have the first past sent out tonight.  If not tonight in the morning...

Just make sure all your log are updated for last week and I'll get back to you all...keep on training!

 BTW, RED rules!

I'm looking at being about 15% complete. 10/100 miles, I had a 5k on Saturday, which I took 4th in my AG. So my running numbers should pick up. 3,250/15,000 meters, I'm feeling much more comfortable in the pool. I have a sprint this weekend in Naperville, IL so my number will really start to pick up after next weekend as I push for my first olympic on September 9th in Lake Geneva, WI. I'd like to be up to 40% complete by the end of this week.

3k/20k Swimming.
60/500 minutes Running (actually aquajogging as I'm recovering from injury).

Don, I posted on 7/31, but if there is not room in the challenge I can just have these as personal goals.

Team 1

Team 2

Team 3

Team 4

14.69%

19.02%

21.33%

22.61%

Ok everyone, with 20% of the month now come and gone, here's the Week #1 results (attached also).  The Orange Team is leading the way with the Red team sucking some serious wind.  Time for me to get out the motivational can of whoopass!

Lot's of good work going on, with one person that has to be doing EPO!

Oh, BTW I had to convert all those that had goals in metrics over to Yards or miles a when one views anothers log it defaults to the veiwers settings.

GO BLUE!

C'mon, y'all - did you happen to notice that some of us (um, that would include me) are a little behind in the Run category...let's have an awesome RUN week! (Largely self-interested cheer here since I'll be traveling without easy pool access, but it does look like we need to do some runnin')

Whoo whoo! Go BLUE!

Allright, I'm all game for the running week. I feel like I'm neglecting my bike, the poor guy looks lonely. Goal is to have 30 before sunday of this week. I think I'm sitting good on swimming, so maybe Ill be throwing in some dual run days. Keep up the good work blue, our level headed persistence is what will lead our team to victory.

My swimming was non-existant last week but that will change.

My running program was scheduled for the least milage last week so I'll be fine in that area, "if" I stick to my schedule. So expect a big run down the stretch from me.

Go Red Team

  • .. "if" I stick to my schedule....

  • Go Red Team

shouldn't that be..."When" you stick to your schedule?!?!?

I think us red teamers set a realistic challenge for ourselves...

We will pull through, update our logs, and take the lead!!!

It's our pacing strategy for the month.

    GO RED!

Sorry Team Green. I am a little behind my goal.  I was out of town last week and unable to get in my usual training.

Don't worry - I will be there at the end!!!

Allright GREEN TEAM!!! Let's get it going and kick some booty! I'm just coming in to the challenge a bit late. My running will lapse this week as I'm in a taper, but I'll hit that 100%... guarantee!!!

Half asleep here at 1:00 am...thought I would revive the thread and see how the OTHER teams are doing before heading to bed... I know ORANGE is kicking butt in miles/yards/minutes as well as winning the coolest avatar contest.

Don't be so jealous...it makes you looks pitiful.

Hey everyone, the weekend is coming. Time for extra minutes (unless you are racing then you want to keep the minutes to a minimum)

    Have fun everyone.
