Hi all, another interloper here. I won't make you eat haggis.

Would it creep anyone out if I said that I'd actually be interested in trying haggis?

Thanks! I've changed my avvie out of respect for my Canadien brothers and sisters! Anyone seen Dan (Crazypop) - is he swimming???

I went to his log and sent him an inspire.. he had been considering the challenge, but was wanting to wait for his hangover to subside before making a decision   His words, not mine.

Nice avie Chris!

Hiya...okay put be down for this challenge. I'm a challenge virgin so can someone explain the rules?

Put me down for 10,000m for Dec. We've got family coming in from Aussie-land and staying with us from middle of December till Jan so I'm not sure how much time I'll have to rack up those meters but I'll try my hardest for my country!

Sent a PM to Tryin at 44 to see if he wants to join...

caius - 2006-11-29 9:01 AM Hiya...okay put be down for this challenge. I'm a challenge virgin so can someone explain the rules?

Each participant decides on how many meters, yards, or minutes swimming they plan to do during the month of December.  If you meet your goal - woohoo!  if you fail to meet your goal - look out.  Just kidding - hopefully we all can make our goals.

The Total % complete for our team will be compared against the total % completed of other teams.   The losing team(s) usually have to do something like change their Avatar to a picture of their butts in swim suits, or pay homage to the winning teams in their signature.

It's all about challenging ourselves and having "virtual" training partners who will check your logs and get on your case send you inspiring messages if you are falling behind.

 Steve

Don't let Chris put you off, haggis tastes good. Best with a shot of whisky poured on top.

If I knew my training in Dec wasn't going to be so patchy I'd sign up too.  I'll just sit this one out and cheer you all on from the side lines

So Fresh So Clean - 2006-11-27 7:11 PM I'm in! I have no idea on yardage/hours, but I have a better idea: Perhaps my goal can be speed related. By the end of this month I want to do 10x100@1:30 going 1:10 each 100. Or I could try for a sub 1:05 100back. Who knows?

I've no idea how I'd input this on our spreadsheet.  If you have any suggestions let me know.  Otherwise I'll need a goal of distance or time.

Steve
