Good luck on the streets of Chicago. Bring it!!!!!!! Grazie, my dear friend. I love it when you check three different weather forecasts and they all vary greatly. Weather.gov = high of 74 Weather.com = high of 78 Accuweather.com = high of 81 Guess we won't know for sure until we're in the thick of it. But I'm off to get my parents from the airport and then hit up the expo in a few minutes! This will be an interesting race considering how undertrained I feel. I missed my 16. Then my 18 turned int o 16.75 because my calves kept seizing up. And then a moderately decent (but slow) 20 that felt good, despite having some pinched nerve problems in my foot. Mid-week runs were sporadic and speedwork nonexistent since July. Meh. I'm just going to have fun out there. I am fully anticipating a 6 hour finish. Oh well! I did it to myself.  xoxo, #33305 |
