Champion 6056 Menomonee Falls, WI | Subject: RE: BT Fantasy Football League frnk36 - 2012-07-24 3:17 PM Also- I like the league set up but can I suggest shortening the season by one game so the Super Bowl is week 16 of the NFL season? Week 17 is such a crap shoot with teams resting their stars for the playoffs that it seems unfair to base our championship on it. As a certain participant in this year's Super Bowl I am curious what everyone else thinks. Yes. Definitely on board with this. |

I've renewed our league so each of you should have an email with information on how to register your teams again for 2012. It seems like most of you have...because as of today, 8 out of 12 teams have already registered. Thank you -
Teams we are waiting on to register -
The online, snake-style draft has been scheduled for Wednesday August 29th at 8pm (eastern standard time). Does anyone have a major issue with this date? Remember, you can pre-rank your players and let Yahoo auto-draft your team if you cannot physically get behind a computer for the draft. At this point...just one person has suggested moving the draft to a weekend night. We still have time to change the draft date/time...but if the overwhelming majority are ok with the current setup, we're going to keep it as it is. Also, if you have any rule or scoring changes you'd like to see for this season ...speak up now! Otherwise, we'll go at it again with the same rules and scoring settings as last year. This can play a big role in your draft strategy, so I'm going to set a cutoff of August 22nd for any decisions on scoring or rule changes. Thanks everyone and looking forward to not finishing dead last this year!
Best team name ever! And thanks for making me #1 I seriously considered changing my name to Dr. Ty Sanchez this year. |

As a certain participant in this year's Super Bowl I am curious what everyone else thinks. I've had them run both ways, and I think it just boils down to a gamble. For me, if I had my team centered around a single player, then sitting and injuries hurt regardless of week length. If the points were spread among the team, then injuries and sitting player didn't hurt me. I think it's 6 in 1 and half a dozen in the other. |
