Well, crap, Cole is in 'crisis mode' with his asthma.  Steroids is the name of the game for a few days.  She didn't really want to let us go tonight but I promised to bring him in if he isn't better by Christmas.  So, he better show improvement tomorrow or else our trip is off.  I didn't even know he was wheezing.    So now, for the next week or so, the poor kid will take 5 med's daily.  That is just wrong.

crimefighter2 - 2009-12-21 4:30 PM OK. Tired of waiting for internet Guy. Went for a 5 mile run, leaving the 14 y/0 in charge. It was a good run, nearly hitting my goal. 9:38 first mile, 9:06 secondmile, 8:45 third mile, 9:14 fourth mile (received a phone call) & 8:39 fifth mile. Calling burn reported as 791. That's cool. Wonder if I can update the sheet from my DROID?

Let me know, I have the sprint version of the droid... I like it - especially fartdroid (I am such the adolescent...)

Worked just fine. Had to log out & log back in of my Google account. Also looks like I'll make or nearly make my goals this week. 2 runs & 2 bike rides will do it pretty much. Go team!

Finally got the kids to bed! My "debate" is do I go get my ride in or tackle the still stinky car seat for round 2... Just kidding!! I am SO going downstairs to ride and get some mileage in!! And will let my husband handle round 2 when he gets back from basketball. I wouldn't want to deprive him of the experience.

Oh, you have no idea how bad round 1 was this afternoon! I'm a (sleep deprived) grown woman and I almost cried... I need some self inflicted pain right now to banish the memory.

Got home from shopping all day and the sun was going down.  Heading out for a run was not high on the list of things that I wanted to do.  Shoot, it was pretty much on the bottom of my list.  Headed out anyway and had my fastest 3 mile time ever!  Sooooooo excited!!!!

I don't do real well with the upchuckage... one look, sight, smell, or sound and I join the party - so my wife gets that job...

Managed to slip in another hour on the bike and an ab set.  Will definately be getting in some more time tomorrow and hopefully a good run too.

Keep it up Vixens! Don't even give those Evil Elves a chance!

Do you think Santa would bring me an early Xmas present today? I think I need a time machine - one that makes more time! All I want it is have enough time to get my work done at work, get to the post office, the dry cleaner, the bank, go to my daughter's xmas party at school, survive a "quick" trip to Walmart, make dinner, clean the kitchen floor, vacuum the house AND get a 3 mile run in...

Sorry I havent been around much. Big snowstorm and Family holiday party. Entertaining a dozen family members in a winter sorm. It was a lot of fun.

I am on track with my running goal. A little behind on the drainer. But I will make my goals.

Happy Holidays.

I scored three Zhu Zhu pets this afternoon!!!!!!  Cole is gonna be so happy.  I was worried that the kids wasn't gonna get the only thing he asked for but perseverance paid off!  WalMart had them.  Limit one per customer.  I went back once and had my mom meet me over their for the third.  Phew!  And I only paid $8 for them, not the crazy ammounts that people as selling them for on craigslist or ebay.  I'm so excited!

In case you were getting a little tried, thought you might enjoy my little poem...

There once was a team, named Vixens
They were busy eating turkey with fixins'
They felt too full to bike or run,
Could not get it done
and the Elves took their rightful place... December Cham-pi-on

Evil Elves,

This is gonna be a good finish
