I envy those of you who have temps in the 30's. It was 15 this morning when I drove my daughter to school. Our high today should be in the low 20's. *sigh* Needless to say, I am setting up the trainer in our newly finished basement today. (I think my hubby is sick of it being in the great room upstairs. How much snow did you guys get Amy?

We've had a couple inches on Saturday and Sunday, yesterday was about 2-3 inches as well, but it blew around a lot. Today we've had about 4 inches so far. It's snowing off/on. Traffic was terrible this morning, because of the snow/ice. The 10 minute drive to my daughter's school took 25 minutes today.

I am at work now, but I'm leaving a bit early today for my job interview. Tonight I have a 5 mile run planned. It is supposed to snow sometime today, not sure when, but I think it is toward evening or overnight.

What's on tap today? A blizzard!!

We're supposedly getting anywhere from 4-10 inches of the white stuff and winds are supposed to pick up in the 25-35 mph range with gusts up to 50.

The plan is to leave work early, get a quick swim in, and then hunker down for the evening.

One of those days, huh? Sounds like it's a good day for a post-workout bowl of chili and a funny movie of your choice. Stay warm bud.

Most people here couldn't handle a winter in North Texas, much less an actual northern state. Then again, they can handle some quite cold water just to go surfing. Different strokes I guess
