Oh BIG news of the day.

4.5 earthquake centered 15 miles from my house.

Nice little jolt at 9am this morning.

Luckily no damage for us....

Nothing that big in the 4 years I have been here in Oklahoma - reminded me of my time in Alaska.

dimplespoo - 2010-10-14 8:27 AM Hey guys -
Things have been crazy around here but I managed to get all but one piece of the baseboard on - yay for knowing how to use power tools (ok remembering the next day after someone shows you). Still feeling cruddy tonight but it seems to just be a bad headache. The body aches are pretty much gone and after the second hot shower of the day the body so far has decided to regulate the temperature.

Got my strength in and a make up from the other day - nothing fancy and slow but I got them in. Broken up in many sessions but they got done.

Aw honey!

We used to have an ice cream maker named Snelgroves that made ice cream for the president but they went out of business. They used to make a special jelly bean ice cream for Ronald Reagan.

Ben and Jerry is icecream right?

Pizza is my bestie.

I have a cokeacola problem.

Ben and Jerry's is more than just ice cream...it is food from the gods.  Seriously - Chubby Hubby is a little piece of heaven here on earth.
Chunky Monkey!!!

Anything chocolate chip - doesn't have to be a certain brand just chocolate chip ice cream for me..

Edited because my computer hates me tonight.

mint chocolate chip is wonderful too

good thing I am not going out to the store tonight, I would HAVE to buy ice cream!!Tongue out

I can eat mint chocolate chip in a pinch but I have walked out of places if they don't have chocolate chip. No chocolate chip cookie dough, nope - plain old fashioned chocolate chip.

It's because most of them can't have caffeinated cola, coffee, or tea. I'd be snorking ice cream a lot more, too.

My parents moved to Alaska the same month as the big quake in 1964. They missed it though. They moved up just after the quake. I'm glad I haven't been through any big ones. They aren't fun. Glad you're ok.

A great icecream that you might not know about is red bean icecream. You can get it at Japanese restraunts.

Ok, if we are talking icecream...personally I'm not that big a fan. I do have an icecream maker though because I love icecream as a medium to put stuff likes nuts and chocolate in!
Actually, my fav that I made was a lemon curd icecream from homemade lemon curd....

Never tried coffee myself. The smell alone makes me sick. I work with a guy that reeks of cigars and coffee. Can't stand the smell of either. I have to make sure I'm not standing too close when he is talking to me so I don't get sick. I do love the smell of pipe smoke though.

Love lemon flavored. We have a company here that makes a lemon frozen custard that is amazing.

Busy evening. I have a sprinkler or something that is leaking into my neighbor's yard that I need to fix, I have an appointment at 8, an hours worth of reading that I need to do and I still have to get my run in. Plus all the other misc annoying things like dinner and washing the workout clothes so I can make them all sweaty again tomorrow.

Anyone out there like techno/club music? I'm listening to a podcast that a dj/runner puts together. Each podcast has a set beat per minute to go with your workout and is about an hour long. The podcasts vary from slower for runners like me to faster for the speedy folks. I also like to listen to it when I'm skiing. Anyway. Check out DJ Steveboy's podcast PODRUNNER.
