Soooo, have I kept you waiting long enough? Do you want to know about the job? Anyone want to guess? I GOT IT! I had my second interview on Friday where I met the Judges, sat in on court, then went for the actual interview. They said I wouldn't be hearing back right away but a few hours after getting home, I got the call asking if I wanted the job. I start next Monday   I'm super excited even though I know i'm going to miss spending so much time with my babydoll!

Michelle...I am learning to post pad!!!LOL

I have a Kuota K factor tri bike...MAX...He is beautiful. It is black, full carbon.I have ZIPP 404 front and 808back  wheels. I love.....LOVE my bike. I would post pics but I really suck at re sizing them. BT really needs to work on that!!!! I also have a Cannondale road bike...it is a very nice bike but I never ride it. I really enjoy the fit of my Kuota and I am far more comfortable in aero than I am on a road bike. Perhaps because I only ride my tri bike.Wink

I wear asics gel running shoes with custom orthotics...very comfy.

I have a blue seventy full wetsuit, and Xterra full, and a new 2XU full. I love my 2XU. My Blue seventy is worn out and my Xterra ripped after a few uses. I wear aquasphere goggles. They dont leave marks!!!!They are also really hard to kick off

APRIL 3 for CHALLENGE:

Drink 60 (3x20) ounces every day...we are all bad about this except Mark...he is too good!!!

Strength train 3x/week for a minimum of 15 mins. I know tri season is starting but seriously triathletes are known for neglecting strength training. Consider it cross training for triathletes. There are a ton of article written on the importance of strength training and this sport. I dont care if you do bicep curls in front of the TV...just do something. 50 crunches before you get dressed in the am and some light weights with high reps when you are sitting. 15 mins will happen quickly and you will see results.

Pick your weakness and do it 3x/week. If running is your weakness be careful not to increase it more than 10%/week

I'm in!!!.

62 oz H2o today.

ST yesterday for 45 min.

I'm loving my swim lessons, I am feeling much more comfortable with the 3 stroke breaths. Worked on backstroke yesterday and got back in the pool today.

What did I just volunteer for?

62oz H2O.
3x Strength train,
3x Weakest link?

My weak link is balance, so for me that means 3x swim, 3x bike, 3x run.  Sound like lots of fun.

Where or where did march go.  I just heard on the news we have had rain for 39 consecutive days. Yuk.

Last months challange was>>> Train link an Ironman.
Did I make it?  Looks like I need some help on that balance thing.

March's totals:
Bike:14h 00m  - 212 Mi
Run:7h 40m 17s  - 50.1 Mi
Swim:10h 09m  - 24100 Yd

Max sounds gorgeous and I totally agree that posting a pic should be a heck of a lot easier here on BT...it really is a big PITA!!

Man, I need to check out those aquasphere goggles...i've gone through half a dozen pair and I still don't have one I really like.

OK, I need some advice if any of you have some to give for this....I got sick a few nights ago. I just didn't feel "right" pretty much all day then after dinner my stomach was hurting. Finally I vomitted but that didn't even make it feel better. Ever since then I have absolutely NO appetite, my stomach is killing me, and while I force some food down, I feel like i'm going to throw up every time I do.

For those of you whose first thought is "are you pregnant?" I can honestly say "NO" since I just took a pregnancy test since I was wondering the same thing! Any other suggestions?? I'm starving but can't eat...what gives??

As an OB nurse I suggest you wait a few days and repeat the pregnancy test.

If it is negative than you might want to consider taking some Prilosec or Nexium...its over the counter and a great treatment of gastritis. My guess is you stressed yourself out over the job....and you got it!!!!!
