Traditionally, sailors spent long spells out at sea, so just being around a bunch of (often rough-hewn) guys all the time, manners and personal hygiene were not of high order. Also, when they called in to port, they stayed close and just went to dive bars and houses of ill repute, so to speak.

Foot soldiers tended to be around society more and therefore had to behave a little better.

Of course, times are very different now, but just try telling that to the chAir Force.

I heard that it's actually pretty good. As well as that "hugo" (I think), and Arthur's Christmass - as kids movies go.

OH MY I just re-read the email and it's the same week as the Olympics in London.
Unclear as to if we plan on attending Olympic events (aren't they all sold out??) or just "be" there at the same time. Either way, this is getting better and better!

I haven't even downloaded Skype to my new computer yet, but then again, haven't had access to a fast connection, either.

I have done tons of the former, not enough of the latter. I still need to load it on the laptop. It has a better camera anyway.

Not that it's a good idea. With the lack of training, and they onset of Hypothroidic condition I have to go through with it's weight loss and depression? Not a pretty picture! no one wants to see a sad fat man! haha!
