I also decided to ditch the treadmill and run some hills today. I included a picture from the top. as you can see I run in a gated community. I also included a picture of my the best equipped exercise facility within 90 miles of my house.. it is my spare bedroom/closet/stuff room. Hrm forget what else I have in here will add more pics to other posts now that I am figuring this stuff out. It is all from my run today, had to go back and do a bikeride with the camera to capture some of it (ths run starts from my front door I didn't drive anywhere). Here is a picture of what my family does while I am out exercizing, even the cat is lazy. Also a pic for those of you who are in a rut. Here is a rock formation litterally across the street from us. And here is our road, notice how much pavement they allow for bikeriding outside the white line. Yes my shoe is on loose gravel and the tire is on the pavement outside the white line. Well, I exercised 324 minutes between the 1st and the 11th. I sure hope I can do my 200 minutes this next week. It is going to be a challenge with this cough.

I don't feel that terrible anymore, but the idea of sleeping in a bit, not dealing with school, and having a take it easy day convinced me to just do it. So of course, last night we're up half the night with a puking 6-year-old and his 4 year old sister who was mad because she wasn't getting any attention. Naturally, no swim this morning. Blah. |

That brings the months total to 8.33 out of the 40 mile goal. I have a ways to go still, but I've got one more short run planned this week, and then a long run on Saturday (I hope). I'm insanely busy right now with school, church, work, and family life. Life is so amazing, the way it just takes off and carries you along with it sometimes.
