Since yesterday's brick was foiled by mother nature, i'm off for a quick brick after work tonight. Should be good times. I'm excited to test out my new bike fit on the open road. |

I am BEAT after a near two mile swim this morning and a 10k run after work. Both went pretty well. Well, the swim was draining and chlorinated (bleh, I'm SICK of chlorine) and the run went fantastic. That's two good runs in a row! I'm pooped and I'm alternating between nearly falling asleep, watching basketball, and staring at my new shoes. I bought the fast ones Ooh... nice dunk, Lebron. Gotta run... umm... sleep. G'night! |

I think it's called "train like you race" I didn't recover from the weekend in time to ride to work. So, I punished myself by riding the rollers in the garage tonight. I also only made 2/3'rds my masters workout 'cause of work. I'm just glad I didn't skip out. That's habit forming. |

The number that you enter into the column should be the number of brick workouts you did for the time period If I recall correctly, the max # that will count in a week is 2, so if there are numbers larger than 2, it doesn't count, which is probably why she split the spreadsheet out by week. I just did some messing around and it looks like maybe the formula isn't rolling up for the bonuses after the second week. If I move your brick to the first week, then it calculates a bonus - I'll PM Gil about it and get her input. In the meantime, I left your brick in the first week, so at least the numbers are accurate. I think she split them out by week, because of the max of 2 per week. I hope this helps

I hope this helps Hi guys and sorry for all the confusion. Here's what you need to enter for each week: 1. The number of bricks/multi-sport races you've done in the given week. This goes in column B. 2. The amount of training (time or distance, depending on your goal) that you've completed in each discipline. These go in columns E, J and O (and T if you have a strength goal). You only ever put numbers in the cells with a box around them. The bonus for completing bricks is calculated automatically (in columns F, K and P), as are all the totals and averages. This does mean that you get a bonus across all three disciplines even though, for example, your brick might only be in two. (It was waaaaaay to complicated to try and match the bonus to the brick disciplines.) Also, you don't get bonuses for strength training. Does this all make sense?? PM me if not |

This is WAY more fun. Sorry I've been so quiet. I'm still very cheery, but WERK has been busy, and so has training actually. I think I just finished my last "hard" day, though. Just some short brick work and pacing stuff to wind down to my tris. FINALLY!! I WANT TO RACE!! |
