Good for you! Yeah, I am sure I made the right decision. It is amazing how much I have changed since we got married though. Him too. But we have changed together. We have given each other room to grow and change. It's worked out for us so far. Of course there are times when I just want to walk away (like lately to be honest) but know that I do love him and don't want to be without him. It's all about trying to find that balance between being an individual and being a couple. Still working on that.... |

Master ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Morning Tods', Looks like it's turning into more than a "GF" hatin' thread. I missed alittle last night that seems like it could have really taken off in a new direction... Anyway, I think the lesson is to enjoy what you have. Give more, expect less. But don't let yourself get stepped on. If that happens, then it's not meant to be. I feel like wihtin the past week I went from despair, to anger, to understanding, to acceptance, to experienced old fart. I'm going today to look at a house for sale. I've been so undecided about where I want to live - near the kids is great for them, but more expensive. Living a little further out is where I, for myself, would like to be. I think the gf thing just muddles up the picture. Now, it seems a bit clearer - I'm feeling the kids need to be #1. Then I'll be settled and I'll be in a better place as far as being ready for relationships. Oddly, my ex-gf even felt a bit uneasy about me being un-settled, yet her being there didn't help me get there. |

Master ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() And tthis morning, I got in my 2nd run since my injury. Wow, have I fallen off the wagon. But slowly, I'll get back into this. Ironman training will be about slow and steady, and not speed. I really hit my low point on so many fronts the past few weeks. Now I got my therapy sessions (running) back, so that's a positive. |

I don't like plans with minutes. I need miles. How far must I go. If I'm training for a marathon and my plan says run 60 minutes, well, I might only go 5 miles. That won't help me get 26.2 done! Have a great run! |

LOL join the 21st lyssa! i know! That's awesome! I never go running without mine (unless of course i've spaced off recharging it, which, now that I think about it, happens quite often) I love my iPod! I have the red clippy shuffle...the nano or anything more would just be too much for me to handle. I'd be paralyzed by that much choice. So all this talk of iPods now begs the question - what does everyone run/bike to? I love my ipod....I run with it all the time....it created a bit of a problem for me at Timberman this past August....I was the runner on a relay team and found out the night before the race that ipods were not legal during the race.....yikes....it was my worst race ever!....if I had known I definitely would have done some training without the ipod! As far as music goes, I like classic rock like Gernesis, Yes, Billy Joel, etc....I have the entire Genesis collection on my ipod! |

Do you know what kind of laptop you're buying? Edited for grammar. I'm getting the new Macbook. I love it! I shopped around a couple weeks ago and will hit the Apple store tomorrow to buy. I have to get it before the end of the year so I have it as a biz write-off. Let me know how you like the Mac....I've been contemplating buying one! |

I haven't had the chance to check out the new one. Lucky you! We joke that it's a cult. People make the move and then get totally obsessed with Mac. I hope I love it. It's really nice, I've used the older Macbook and they made some nice updates. Totally a cult! We started off with one little Macbook and now we have a imac and his and her Macbooks. We'll NEVER to back to pc's. Apple all the way!!! What do you like about it? |
