Subject: RE: p90x I am a P90X and Insanity grad...I love both programs! I was using the p90X upper body workouts while training for marathons and tris, just to continue to build muscle. The hubby is currently training for IMTX, so I am really not training for anything (hey somebody has to watch the kids). Since Insanity and P90X are easy to do in the mornings, before the rest of the house is awake, I decided to try the p90X/Insanity hybrid program. I have always liked the muscle definition I get from P90X and the endurance benefits I've gained from Insanity...I swear after Insanity, my 5k pace dropped about 30 seconds per mile. I am in week 3 right now and so far I am loving it! We'll see if I can hang through the entire 90 days...I do miss running and right now, I am only able to squeeze in 1 - 2 short runs per week. Oh and my all time favorite P90X workout is S/B/T...the "glamour muscles"! I have a love/hate relationship with C/B. It's been awhile since I've done the other workouts, but I cannot stand the one with the corn cob pull-ups! Mainly because I find the girl who loves those to be completely annoying. LOL! |
