Even managed to self assemble the tv stand by myself... but the shelves are looking more awkward because the pieces are THAT much bigger... Off to carols tonight |

When I got out of work this afternoon they were already making closure announcements for SUNDAY!! Saw 2 cars in the ditch on my way home from the grocery store too. Dumb a$$ southerners overcorrected and landed in the ditch, I'm sure. |

The dent in my car's front bumper may be a little deeper and my toes are a little sore, but I really, really, needed to kick something. I never found the shoes that I wore over there...I had to dig my boots out of my car to drive home. The endless clutter puts me over the edge. |

I hope your county and local street departments are better equipped and prepared to clear the roads. They slacked over here and people were Pea Oh pizzed! |

And here we both are....because VA is paralyzed by snow....a couple of northerners who could manage driving staying inside cause we know that the rest of VA drivers & roads) are a mess!! Thing 1 asked to go drive today. Part of me wanted to let her learn how to handle a skid in snow but the part of me that knows she has yet to successfully drive on a rainy or even a clear day kept me from giving in . |

We're thinking about heading north on 81 to the Pennsylvania turnpike and taking that across. There are still big accidents on 81S so they haven't been able to plow. Plus, West Virginia mountains in the snow (with more tomorrow) seem really scary. |
