Melon Presser 52116 | Subject: RE: January Training and Nutrition Challenge rnihill - 2011-01-12 5:20 AM So, my trip with my daughter to the doctor's office resulted in a trip to the ER... and then an overnight stay in the pediatric wing. She was diagnosed with ITP, which basically means she has a really low platelet count, but her white and red cell counts are normal. A "normal" platelet count is 130... her initial reading at the ER last night was a 1. Yeah, not good... basically she has no ability to clot. So they admitted her thinking we were in for 2-3 days. She got some meds last night and retested this afternoon and was up to 18. Nowehere near, 130 but enough improvement to go home and take it easy and come back for another check on Friday. So o?bviously, my run didn't happen last night! And after sleeping for about 2 hours on a cot?, I'm not likely to do much tonight either. ? ??B?u?t? ??I?'?m? ?j?u?s?t? ?h?a?p?p?y? ?t?o? ?h?a?v?????????????e?? ?t?h?e? ?w?h?o?l?e? ?f?a?m?i?l?y? ?h?o?m?e? ?t?o?n??ig?h????t?.? ? ?? oh noooo rhoda! well i am so glad she's improving and could come home. you poor things! |

Absolutely to die for! you must share where those can be found. they sound heavenly.I know of three restaurants here in Fresno that serve them...each with a slightly different take, but all delicious. I get down to So Cal about once a month, but can't say sweet potato fries have crossed my path when I'm there. I'll have to make an effort to seek some out next time and I'll let you know. |

Master 1623 | Subject: RE: January Training and Nutrition Challenge Hello everyone!! Been a lazy and very unhealthy eating filled week for me. I blame snow and wanting to have fun with my friends which meant training had to take a backseat to fun Should be doing an ab dvd with one of my roommates today and maybe getting a run in but I'm also supposed to go grocery/school supply shopping with James so there may not be time for a run too. I'm working tomorrow and Saturday so I'll probably get in workouts after work. I actually have a wonderfully healthy and veggies filled salad planned for dinner tonight so I'll get somewhat caught up on my fruit and veggie servings. Hope everyone's had a great week so far! |
