LockOut - 2011-12-01 10:15 AM So I guess women (and children) the world over are glad that it's Dec. 1st today. Happy December!

Why should I be happy that it is December 1?

Movember is over?

The bf doesn't grow a mustache. It makes him look like a creeper.

It makes everyone look like a creeper. And it makes me jealous that I would only be able to grow a teen stache if I tried.

But Movember reminds me of my favourite adjective of all time... Mustachioed.

I so wish I could do that. My uncle has had a mustache for as long as I can remember him (minus one Christmas when he shaved it). I would look like way more of an idiot than I already do if I tried.

I can't grow an epic Selleck stash, the last time I had a hair on my lip I was 18 and it was with my goatee but it looked bad. If I shaved my goatee I think it would have looked creeperish.

Went out for coffee last night with late-night-petting-zoo guy (that can NOT be his nickname!). He makes me laugh, so hard, so much. I declined alcoholic beverages but might take him to an art show this weekend...  Dunno. We'll see.

His nickname just might be "White Tee" - he wears a white t-shirt every time I see him - like Hanes 3-pack V-Neck style. One of those guys who can totally pull it off. Rawr.

Hey TAN.

I know I talk a lot, to the annoyance of probably many.  Funny thing, that's not me in real life.  I guess that's the freedom the internet gives you.

That being said, I was hoping you can spare any positive enerygy today.  My treatment starts in a couple hours.  In 30 minutes I'm off to the hospital for surgery.  I expect in about 4-5 hours from now, I should be in the recovery room and then the radiation starts...  After that?  The long process of chemical replacement/balance.

If things go as they should, I'll see you on the other side.

I thought about you last night when I watched the Jimmy Valvano speech on ESPN. Thinking about who has been afflicted and how they're doing.

Got your spritual back...

I received a very scary call from my kids school about 3 hours ago. they called and said my 10 yr old son (Jared) was in the office and he was crying complaining about chest tightness. First thing I thought of was heart attack! I bolted over to the school to check on him and asked him a bunch of questions, calmed him down and such and I think it was just his first case of heart burn. Anyways, I checked him out of school and took him home to rest and calm down (it scared him pretty bad)

Thing is, is I am kinda upset that the school would call me saying chest  pains, I am sure there was some other way of stating it. I know they can't be to careful and I am glad they called me, but I think they could have communicated the situation a little better.
