I am getting old.
Last night did a group run where you drink/eat afterwards - twas fun. I purposefully sat with people I didn't know, this included a table with three younger women. I'd say they were around 25 years old. And I know this is not representative of ALL 25 year old women, but they were just... snotty! After stiff introductions of me and another couple at the table, they turned inward and only talked to each other and wouldn't let anyone else into the conversation. Then they just got up and left to join another table without saying anything.

I dunno, like I said I must be getting old. It didn't ruin my night or anything, but both me and the other couple mentioned how borderline rude these girls were being. You come to a group run (for the first time) and ignore/shut out other people who are being nice to you? Annoying at best.

At least I made friends with that couple - win for me!

stevesflyshop - 2012-08-17 11:09 AM Morning TAN. I rode my motorcycle to work this morning and am constantly amazed at how perceptive I am on the bike v. the car. I must drive like a zombie.

Guessing the vibration keeps you alert

That could be it. I know I'm always in a better mood after a long bike ride.

Good morning TAN.  Got my hairs cut and dyed, quite the shocker here in the office.

You can't go back....you know!

Oooo, exciting! ... I'm going to do this too .... I've got at least 6 inches to ditch!

I always dislike the change for a few days then it grows on me (and I have no choice) but to like it :-)

I'm the same way. I usually freak out the next morning when I wake up and look in the mirror .... I though growing it out long would be neat ...not so much. Just looks like it hangs there. (that's what she said) Time to chop it off!

Yes, this morning I looked in the mirror and thought what the F was I thinking, I only cut three inches off but the ponytail seems so stubby now?

I will miss my top knot ponytails and such but ...it's time to get my style on. My groove .. I needs to get it back, not getting any younger ya know!

I feel like long hair is so easy and sometimes the lazy way to go.

Many mornings, not washing and slipping into a low riding ponytail or fancy twist.

But for guys this long hair thing is an obsession, most guys I date and even my ex begged me to not cut it. STRANGE?!!?

Long hair looks like crap on me. I have a short neck. Ha! I've never had a man care what my hair length was and that's good. My ex husband liked it blond....I don't do blond now.

i chopped all my hair off a la emma watson about 8 months ago and i just LOF IT.  my husband hates it.  my husband also doesn't know how tedious it is to blow dry my hair.  he will have to deal with it.

(until i get bored of this hair cut and color and change it again, which i am currently looking for new ideas.  suggestions, anyone?)

i don't think that is being "old."  i think that is being friendly and social and the other girls are clique-y and rude.  plenty of folks in their 30s behave that way and plenty of young people can be friendly.  i'm glad you had fun!

Ahh, remember when you were in  your early 20s, and you could run like that for a week or two?

Okay, so I'm building a website for my branch at work and we have a picture of a competitor of ours buying material from us. Should I put it up on the website?

As much as I miss being active, I won't lie I don't miss all the scarifices I use to make for training.  When I go back, I will not spend as much time training as I once did, or at least until I am in a stable relationship where I need the time away Wink

Yes! Ima tired of sitting home, alone, every weekend.  BORING!  I am going to get my hairs cut this afternoon.  Although I don't like to get my hair cut when I'm feeling "blah".  Especially if it comes out weird.  Then it just adds to the blah.  I shall do nothing drastic ... only shape up and shorten the shape that is already there!  Wheeeee!

get some fun color, it always changable.  I will stay goth for a few weeks and then lighten it up around my face with some underlights.

Chicken and dumplings, on the couch with a trashy magazine, tv on in the back ground while someone strokes my legs and feet sounds kind of nice.
