Thought I would ask to at least be included in lunch/ brunner/ whatever. but the last thing we need is a cold circulating a week before a century eh? Have a great ride everyone. I'll miss you!

I made it home. Right at 60 miles for me. Managed to avoid the U-turn carnage on Baseline. Hope everyone had a good dinner (it was late enough that brunner was no longer an option).

Thanks a bunch. That's my longest ride ever, but a factor of 2.

Thanks for letting me join you all on the epic ride today.

Sorry I had to bail on brunner/dinner, but I had to get back to the in-laws for dinner.

It was great to meet everyone.  I'm looking forward to reading the race reports from the century next week.  Sounds like the last mile should be interesting.

Everyone made it back safe and sound. Chris had a little road burn from the Baseline carnage, and Aaron had some sort of unidentifiable internal injury. I think it was just saddle sore. Brunper was a great time.

I think most of us are doing the Century in some form or another next weekend, so I'm assuming no ride unless any others want to get together for something. If so, the thread is yours

PS - Aaron, Dave, and Jot all new distance records today! W00T!

Thanks for coordinating. I did just over 60 today. Previous long was 30. I don't have high hopes for walking normally tomorrow.

And Dave just kicked our tails all over the road. I need him to ride a bit slower so I can get a better draft.

Great seeing everyone.

Paulette made us crash.....

Thank God for my cat-like, Ninja reflexes or you'd all be attending my funeral instead of the Century... Except for Paulette.  I wouldn't have invited her.

Great job to David (Yet another super fast Flagstaffonian like Astrid), Jot (Awesome riding, and for your longest distance)! and my man Aaron for doing the whole enchilada!!!!!   VERY proud of you!!!

I'm off to Triage where they'll probably have to amputate my leg from the crash. That Paulette caused. Without any reason whatsoever. But I forgive her because she's small and not so smart.

Your Ninja Cat skills seem to be involved in pretty much all of the ESCKTC accidents, yet none are your fault.... HMMM I think an investigation is in order.

Great job on the 85 miles today!

Well thank you Sporty! It's good to see SOMEBODY understands the pain and suffering I'm going through. Do you have like a gallon of the stuff you used on your butt? I'm going to need a lot.

P.S. Your Butt      rash is probably a lot bigger than my sores, so maybe you don't have much left?

Are you inferring that my butt is HUGE after I just offered to help you? In that case...I am out of my magic healing stuff. SO THERE!

TOO FUNNY! Just because I am in a good mood I will bring you some stuff tomorrow...how big is your rash? Its Tegaderm...heard of it? It comes in different sizes.

Here is what I did and mine healed with ZERO scabbing, or scarring (god forbid a scar on my big butt). It healed quickly and it was pretty deep and gnarly.

Where can you get tegaderm? I've used the Advanced Healing band-aids. ButT ( ) it's tough to find the big ones and they're expensive.

I also find it helps to shave the affected area so that stuff adheres better.

Now now you two. We don't want to have to lock you together in a cage match or anything.

Chris, stop playing the victim. You have control over your life. Calling yourself a victim means that you are giving up that control. This is your life. From this day forward. One day at a time.

Yeah...what he said ^^^

and

You cannot always control what happens TO you, but you CAN control how you react.

I have to remind my 9 year old of this often.
