You're right. I'm actually a Bay Area girl at heart. I was born in Palo Alto and spent every summer there until I was fifteen. I lived in So SF for four months in 2000, some of the happiest times ever.

Ha!  Heather...so true.  I think most of the time I've gone camping with my older son, the extra clothes were really only there for 'emergencies.'  Don't know how many times we've ever used the extra clothes.  Maybe it's just an inherent guy thing.

Good Morning, Nibbens!

I am in Chicago, on a layover as I make my way to Detroit, and ultimately to Windsor, Canada. It was 8 degrees in MN this morning... brrrrrrrrrrr

I have been a bit light on Nibbens posts and inspires so far this week, but I promise to make up for it when I get back in town later this week.

Until then, have a great time, and I am sure we will be on VII by that time!

Wow, what a beautiful sunrise we had this mornin', hopefully those clouds will bring snow... My first day on the mtn is Friday and I'm worried we won't get to ski b/c of lack of snow.

Went for a run this mornin', didn't realize how tuff it would be running against the wind at the end of my run... ugh!  Well, I think that should only leave me with 3 miles  to my goal, yeah!

Hope you have an enjoyable trip.  8 degrees and you're still traveling further north... Brrr

• Italian food – homemade and good restaurants
• BT Challenges – our appreciation for the organizers and how great they are for meeting cool peopl
• Camping and backpacking, mostly how much underwear you need to pack and whether or not underwear is even necessary on a backpacking trip – LOL  (Heather is a pretty firm believer in wearing underwear to prevent chafing – lol)
• More talk about Italian food – Hector’s going to take the Twisnibbins ladies out to dinner.  He’s going to make a collage of pics to put at the other place settings, and take a laptop so he can talk with us while we have dinner together – LOLOLOL (although we did decide that a crackberry might be more discreet depending on how he could handle the scrolling!)
• Scott’s new stick – which seems to work quite well
• Taper madness, marathon preparedness, car washes, taking out the trash, and rice krispy treats :-).
