I know with November right around the corner some of you are already in your 'off season' let us know if you are done for 2010 and if not what race(s) you have coming up.  If you are done for the season have you signed up for anything over the winter or early spring???

Haven't signed up for anything yet but I'm doing the Cooper River Bridge run which is April 2nd, then James and I are doing a half marathon April 16th.  Still looking at which tris i wanna do a lot is kinda up in the air until I decide where I'm going to grad school.

They opened up anew Hooters here and they were giving away free wings all day if you bought a calender. Figured I would share.

Free wings!!!!! Where do I need to go?

I am done for 2010 save for one little half marathon early Dec.  Another half mary in Feb to keep me honest over the winter.  For me the "off season" is all about run volume / speed workouts and swim drills.  Half Ironman training starts mid December for Lonestar.  Time to do 70.3.  Hope to swim fairly steady, solid bike with a power goal that will allow me to run the entire 13.1.  I'll go ahead and throw it out there - I am hoping for sub 6 hrs.  Plenty of training before that craziness happens.  I need to invest in a bunch of HTFU points before then also.

Been kinda slow - how is everyone else doing?

I know, I know ya'll are super jealous of my aqua jogging hours.  I REALLY hope this is the LAST month where my swim is 5.5Xs longer than my run, I am developing an alergy to chlorine.

Best run distance month ever.  A couple of PBs along the way.  It's to be cooler in Houston.  It's good to be back on the bike.  October's totals:
Bike:	10h 43m 13s  - 183.95 Mi
Run:	12h 48m 58s  - 91.82 Mi
Swim:	6h 50m  - 12950 Yd

September's totals:
Bike:	1h 44m 12s  - 36.76 Mi

Eric ROCKED that race.  I will let him and Besty tell the stories, but I wanted to report that they are two of the most awesome people in the world. 

Oh, AND I was on my BEST behavior, no corrupting... I only got a case of the giggles twice and still managed not to actually SAY what I was thinking, so no worries. 

Congrats Eric on a great race!

Wassup! everybody- how's everybody doing? Anybody training hard or just taking it easy for now until the end of the year?

I am getting ready to start Wk3 of the bike program- I was on the drainer last night for a couple of hours (first time ever!) and the last 1/2hr I was so ready to get off! I watched a movie and stopped it halfway to watch some football - of course at the same time I had the radio blasting in one ear.

I'll be running later on today, I don't see the weather letting up (30's with gusts up to 30mph) - just have to dress for it and bear it down... heading to the gym in an hour for a swim.

Hope everyone's having a good December!  I'm all ready for Christmas... pretty much my entire list consisted of triathlon related items so I'm hoping to have lots of fun new training toys to play with soon.
