Mornin' everyone!  It's been a crazy one here, but I got my run in before work.  A little bit of speed work...

Every time I check in, we are pages and pages past the last time I checked.  Any advice on how to keep caught up with this team?

I find that the best strategy is to just jump on into the conversation and pretend like you know exactly what everyone has been gabbing about for the last 20 pages.

It appears, that with this team, you will be fine if you just mention food or beer.

Got it -- food, yum!  Beer, not so much.  But wine...

Great job getting the run in.  As far as keeping up I think someone may have been nominated to produce summaries of what's been posted.  And that someone may have been me.  Apparently I have free time

I guess that must have happened in one of the posts I skimmed over.  I'm so glad you have free time to do this!

Got a run done!  It was supposed to be 50 minutes so I chose my 4 mile route since I have been super slow lately.  Well, I ran in in under 40 minutes and that is including my nemesis,  Hill from Hell (I usually pause my Garmin while I run it as to not slow down my pace but I didn't today).  I am stoked.  I need a good training day and I got it!  Yeah!!!

That will work too.  Did you manage to find an adequate replacement for the lunch you forgot?

LazyMarathoner - 2009-06-01 8:36 PM I guess I should set a goal. Dee, I get my schedule two weeks at a time so I'll have to guess - can I increase it later if I need to? Don't want to be a sandbagger
Increases are always allowed. (For decreases, it depends upon the reason.)

Ok, I set a goal of 80 miles, it shouldn't be a problem.

I had a salad from whole foods. It was good, but near as good as what my lunch would have been.
