either im a complete idiot or the pump totally sucks or BOTH!

i cannot for the life of me get it past 80 pounds.

i know its not the gauge.


the last time i couldnt pump my tires, like a moron i took it to Dicks (closer than the bike shop) and had a guy i know (SERIOUS CYCLIST) that works there pump my tires and he set the gauge to where i need to be able to pump my tires too.

i just cannot get the stupid things to PUMP!!!!

i have CO2 but ive never had to use them before...id want someone around who knew how to use them, my first time, i cant afford losing a tube at this point.


i could stop at Dicks on the way up to the Y.

im good at looking sad.


or NEAL.  on your way to the mens room or water fountain, just swing by my house to pump my tires.

that would work too.

Wow, looks like I got here just in time.  I am happy to help out and interview.

That said, it sounds to me like the pump is likely the problem.  Probably a leak in the seal.  Mine did that once.  I took it to LBS and they fixed it.  (for free I might add.)

Until then, bring on the applicants!!

You know, just to take it a bit easy on Neal, we don't want to wear him out too much, he should stop at Stacie's after he leaves my place. Then from there he could continue heading west to Kim's. We should probably just send him on to Amy and Dee when we're done, too.

A man running the Boston Marathon Monday was saved by spectators and fellow athletes after he collapsed and suffered cardiac arrest.The 64-year-old man collapsed and staggered to the ground at the intersection of Beacon and Mountfort streets in Kenmore Square at about 1:20 p.m. The location is less than two miles from the end of the race.Spectators and fellow runners began CPR as a nearby ambulance crew was called."That was probably the greatest thing that could have happened to that man when he fell down," said Janell Jimenez of EMS.She and her partner then began to use a defibrillator to resuscitate the man, who was not identified."We were doing CPR and ended up bringing him to the back of the ambulance where we got a pulse and he started breathing on his own," said Jimenez.Race officials said he is in stable condition at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Authorities said he was from out of state."This is a day I am going to remember the rest of my life. It was so special and every marathon is going to bring back those memories," said Jimenez.A total of 1,324 runners in the field of more than 26,000 received first aid of some sort along the route or at the finish. Thirty-three were taken to hospitals for treatment.
