Staff have been laughing at me all week. I have Holiday Brain. I have been totally mixed up all week as to what time my branch opens each day. I so need a holiday from work. Once I hit the road, I may not be checking in as I'll be dealing with 4 grandkids once I hit VA. So I hope that everyone has a great holiday. |

Turns out that it is not the tie rod, but a dang piece of metal that I picked up from the road in my tire. So, it will only be a new tire. Should be ready later this morning. We will get on the road a bit later than expected since we could not pack the car last night, so hubby will pick me up later and we will go home to pack the car and then head out. I am so relieved. Yeah!!!! I'm glad it was nothing major. Have a good trip! |

Champion 14677 Bronze member | Subject: RE: 100 days of Ghoulie Power! Morning Ghoulies. Dinner tonight that was just going to be for 5 is now magically 10 people! That aught to be interesting. Went Christmas Caroling at a friends house. They do this every year (for the past 60 years- carrying on the parents tradition). It is amazing about 60-80 people of all shapes, sizes, colors and ages bring food, drink and sing carols. The house is old and shabby and kids run amok and there is lots of laughter. I wouldn't miss it. However, today both DH and I have sore throats and we found out that we have lots of people showing up. I thought the big dinner would be tomorrow. Nope, it is going to be both days! It will be fun no matter what. Work this am then finish up the prep work. At least I got the cookies, and one pie cooked yesterday. A whole gross of chocolate chip cookies!. Yum. I am going for a long walk with the doggie this afternoon that is going to have to count as a workout until I get rid of this crud for good. Have wonderful days all. |

My back is a bit stiff this morning, I think it is from bending over a lot yesterday wrapping presents. Next year I'll just have to buy less. Yeah right. I have a few errands to run today, then my family will be here tomorrrow for Christmas. Good Christmas JUJU going out to all my Ghoulies!
