Came home growled at my loving family and knew enough to put my running shoes and my IPOD on. After a couple of miles I was not so pissed! So put on a hapy FACE..and your shoes. |

I just got back my avatar. Sure hate to lose it again so quickly. But things are not looking good for us West Coasters. I was just on the spreadsheet and looks as though...we are in third...again! woe is me! |

Veteran 202 Tucson | Subject: RE: US West Team - May "President's Cup" challenge Well gang, I'm still in the red, but improved by 10% today! (Up to 45.28% from around 35% this AM). It was grading/cleaning day for us teachers, so I hustled and got out of there by 10:30. Parked the car by my girls' school and got the bike out of the trunk. Rode just over 6 miles on the linear path along the Rillito (it's a "sometimes" river). Parked the bike and did a short run to create brick #1. Rested a little and had a snack, then biked back to where the car was. Parked the bike and changed into a swimsuit and did 950 yds of pulling drills to create brick #2. The weather here today was amazing! Cloudy, cool, downright windy and stormy. Got rained on in the pool, nearly got blown off the bike a few times. Definitely NOT typical May 23 weather for Tucson, AZ! A great day to get outside! |

Veteran 340 | Subject: RE: US West Team - May "President's Cup" challenge OMGOSH!! That pic is sooo not me...sorry really struck me funny! Actually swam a tad over a mile today...and I did not die. Today I bought a new swim suit cuz the dryer at the gym ate 2 of mine. Note to self don't use that again! Anyway it is a two piece...hehehehe yummmm NOT sexy. I have a few well placed fat rolls I want to be gone, but I have decided I may be fat but ...if your gonna be fat it might as well be TAN. Edited by ilucy2 2008-05-25 8:53 PM |

My pool swim yesterday was ok, but less than inspiring...not like swimming to the frickin' horizon!!! Way to go. |

Elite 3494 Renton, Washington | Subject: RE: US West Team - May "President's Cup" challenge HEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a race tomorrow and I am NOT going to be able to sleep for excitement! It feels great digging out all my race stuff, checking off my list, brining my own cap - says USA on it just for Memorial Day! I AM STOKED! I'm also planning to buy the wetsuit I rented. $200 is NOT bad for a Blue Seventy Sleeveless is it? Oh my oh my oh my. It's like Christmas! I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Memorial Day! I am ALMOST done with the challenge too and after tomorrow I will have ridden 150 miles on my new bike. HAHAHHA.
Off I go skipping through the tulips. By the way, last week was a full moon. This week the painters are in. No wonder I felt like crap. Hope I wasn't too much of a butthead. |
