It's unseasonably hot here on the east coast. It was already 88F at 11am when I went for my run. I believe I set a new PB for distance. I've got two more runs to finish 6.6 miles so no problem to reach my goal.

Staying cool in the AC now.

I got a DNF at my race today.  Asthma was just too bad and I couldn't breath.  Inhaler didn't work.  I'm not really upset about it.  It seemed like a possibility given how I was feeling this week.

Anyway, my race report is up.  It was nice and short to write.

I had my bloodwork done for our local health fair and compared the results to those of two years ago. While I wasn't at any serious risk in 2007, I was on my way to health problems, for sure. Here are the numbers: 2007 Cholesterol 177 HDL 57 LDL 97 Iron 61 2009 Cholesterol 139 HDL 64 LDL 63 Iron 97 I'm so thankful for the triathlon lifestyle.
