Do you remember a few weeks ago I told you about the neighbors new pit bull? The one where they told me if they'd let go of the leash he'd come out and bite me in the . Well! They rent the house that they are in. The lady who owns the house shares the driveway with them, her house is back farther, they are along the road. She didn't know they had the dog, and he scared the bajeebers out of her when she went to get the mail the other day, she's an older lady, too. She told them they have to get rid of the dog. WOOHOO! that's great that you'll feel safer about not having the dog around. I feel sorry for the dog. I feel sorry for the dog, too, but honestly I don't think he had a good home there to begin with. I understand that. I mean that I feel sorry for a dog that is raised to bite people. Spend a little bit of time training your dog properly and you can have a great pet. I agree. I wanted a big dog, and I got one, but I don't want him to be mean. I just want strangers to think twice before doing anything stupid.  |

I am looking for a new vehicle, something AWD or 4WD for the winter. I was looking at Ford Escapes and Explorer's, but now I'm thinking Honda Element. The question is what do you drive? Along with the motorcycles, we have a Chevy Silverado, which my husband mostly drives, and I drive a Chevy Aveo. Element would be my choice if you don't need to seat more than 4 ever. That is all it seats or I would own 2 4 is all I need. If I need to haul more than that we can take the truck, or my inlaws have an 8 person van we can borrow. |

| Elite 4201 washington state | Subject: RE: Ghoulie Assatar part II- run or else! Love my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Can seat 5 with room for dogs or groceries in the back. (Maybe not Milo though without folding down the back seat. ) However, the back seat is split, so you can fold just have and still have seating for 1 or two in the back depending on which side you fold. With the seat down I can put my bike in back if I don't want to have it out on the rack. Handles great in town and parking situations because it can make pretty tight turns. Can shift into 4-wheel for winter crud. Gas mileage is so-so. Maybe newer ones are somewhat better. |

Running - several of these Biking Ironman Disdain Stretching Weight loss Somebody come up with a September challenge. How about recovery since Neal has been pooped upon this month with the crash recovery and then next month with taper and recovery from IM. We can see who can best utilize recovery days somehow. I don't know other than sleep amount. Someone else have something (the more I think the more dumb my idea was - sorry Neal I tried!) Or another IM challenge in support of Neal and his real IM! I can't do an IM challenge. Between taking kids to soccer practice 2 nights a week, taking my daughter to piano lessons, taking Milo to puppy obedience, and marathon training, I don't have a whole lot of time left. |
