Good morning Ghoulies!

My shoulder is still pretty sore, so no lifting today. My hip is only a little sore, I think moving it would do it some good, so I am going to try and go for a walk later today.

How was everyone's Christmas?

Ghoulies I just found out I got a HUGE Christmas gift!

I had thought I turned in my programming assignments on the 21st, that was the final day. I spent an hour submitting assignments. My prof never got them. He submitted the form for an extension for me until February. Now I have time to fix the ones that didn't work. THIS IS HUGE FOR ME! I don't like getting bad grades, so with the extension, instead of him giving me all zero's, I should still be able to do well in the class!

We had a lovely Christmas here. Family, Friends and food. Lots of laughter etc.

We have just been invited to go to a friends for lobster tails. YUM!

hope you feel better, Ann  ~ take some advil, aleeve and if that does not help turn to liquor!!! and lots of it!!! but stay away from the stairs if you are gonna be a drinkin!!! just sayin!!!

I can make a mean jack daniels pecan pie! soooo good warm with vanilla ice cream or if you just want icecream I can make a super yummy (if Ican say so myselr) butterfinger ice cream pie!

got in another short bike ride today ~ was only in the 40's for the ride but we were able to get almost 20 miles in.

I'm at work today.

I am only working 3 days this week, so I should be able to handle it, we shall see.

It is a rainy rainy rainy day here. Which is good. If it weren't I would have to go and monitor Lucy and Ethyl on my day off. As it is, I get to just do some chores around here.

Missed you at lobster last night. It was very very good!

Wish I'd have had the lobster, I didn't have dinner last night.

Good Morning Ghoulies!  Back to the work world today... oh well. We work four days this week and then a 3 day weekend.  That will be nice!

Yesterday we went with friends to see the movie, Warhorse.  It was pretty good.  About what I was expecting.  I don't like watching animals being treated poorly, so some of it was hard to watch though probably true to life.  It is set in WWI and did a pretty good job of depicting the misery of war. 

Overall, I would say it was interesting but not great.  But then I am one who has always been appalled that Black Beauty would be considered a children's book!

Come here, I'm working 3, then have 4 off.

Tired girl. I wasn't feeling the best, and didn't feel like making anything. He made sausage for him and the kids, but the smell of it turns my stomach.
