Good morning Ghoulies. 

I plan on getting to the gym tonight to run.  Too cold to run outside.  Was trying to play Xmas music in my office, but my old ipod wont play through my small speaker or computer.  But it will play through the headphones.  Hmmmm, wonder whats up with that. 

Anyone watch any of the 121212 concert last night?  I watched from Pink Floyd to Bill Joel. 

Well that just doesn't sound right.

Didn't really see too much TV last night. How was the concert?

I really enjoyed it.  In between the acts, instead of having commercials other than mentioning the sponsors, they highlighted some of the 1st responders and talked about the difference they made in peoples lives.  Really quite moving.  Since I grew up in New Jersey, and had gone to Seaside Heights, to see that destruction again, and knowing that it was only a small piece of all the destruction broke my heart. 

One thing Mick Jaegger said that I had been thinking was "biggest collection of old English rockers in history."  or something similar.  It was quite funny.  Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, The Who, all from my childhood.

Darn! I meant to watch at least some of it. I went to dinner with a couple of co-workers, got back to the motel room and was asleep by 8:00. Life in the fast lane!

At least I am home today. Tomorrow I am up early to get my hair done, some shopping then dinner with friends. Should be a fun day.

WFH today. After work I need to get groceries, Christmas shop for the kids, pick up the kiddos after school and basketball practice, toss them in the shower, feed them, then take them to Christmas shop for their dad and their cousin. Fun times.

I tried a run this am. NOT a good idea. I need to wait a while in the am it turns out. Off to get the hair in order for the holidays, do a tad of shopping, then get home to do some gift baskets and go out with friends. Should be a fun day. Not as hectic as yours, Ann, but fun.

Hi Robin!

I got my hair cut yesterday. The girl who does it has been cutting my hair since before Caleb was born. She is closing her shop January 31. She is going to be a SAH mom. I don't know where I'm going to go now. I don't like going to the mall places and having someone different cut your hair everytime. The good news is I have 1 more appointment which is right before Key West.

Good morning Ghoulies.  This must be the week for getting hair done.  I had mine done on Wednesday.

Ann, you should ask her if she is going to cut any hair from home.  That is what my hairdresser did two years ago, so I actually go to her house to have it done and it costs about 3/5 of what it did at the salon.

My hip is not enjoying the cold or the treadmill.  I'm hoping it warms up enough this weekend to get a run in outside. 

I know...I'm a wimp who lives in the south complaining about the cold.  I actually like the cold, it's my hip that doesn't. 

Only 4 1/2 staff today, so I won't be back on BT.

She only lives about 2 miles from here. She told me she'd still cut my hair if I wanted her to. I may have to take her up on it.

I fell off of the exercise band wagon this week.  But I am going to jump back on with a swim this afternoon if my work schedule continues to permit.

It does sound fun.  So I take it that the new hot water heater is working fine

I have to wait until next Thursday for my hair appointment.  It needs it now though.
