I got my 3 core workouts in last week!  I tried a core class at the gym that was awesome, and I will definately do it again, and I used a couple of the free exercise programs that are on demand on my cable.

How'd everybody else do?

Did core on Friday, Saturday and this morning. I biked 20 miles yesterday and hit some nasty south winds making my trip home a killer. I biked a new route with lots of slow, grinding hills making my legs burn like fire.

I felt good enough this morning to work on a brick. I swam 800 meters, biked 10 miles and then ran 2 miles. I followed it by a core work out. I'll train through Wednesday and then take a 2 day break before Saturday's tri.

I feel good going into the season so I just pray my knee holds up and I stay injury free.

Hey guys! I had a cycle class and yoga/core class today. I rarely take any form of yoga so I am certain I will pay for it tomorrow.

I have a swim and wgt training planned for tommorow! Hopefully the swim will be good. I havent been in the pool in two weeks. DANGIT!

Still no chance to go for my first ride. My plan is to ride with a local cycling group Sat. am.
Everyone keep working hard. We have a BIG name to live up too!

Ok ladies, tomorrow is my first tri of the season and I'm pumped and ready. I've done a lot of resting, stretching and hydrating this week so not much to report. I'll update everyone on Sunday.

It was WONDERFUL and my best times yet. I was out of the water in 9 minutes, completed the bike in 43 minutes and the run in 20.8. Overall time was 1:19. Out of 1,000 participants (men and women), I placed 520. There were 80 women in my age group of 35-40 and I placed 42. Not bad. My knee held up but I was feeling it on Sunday.

I'm starting to train for my 10k scheduled for June 8th and then another tri on June 22nd. Ran today and paced right at 10 minute miles...want to improve my pace to under 10.

I'll post some pics soon.
