Harry, Still waiting for the repairman to come fix my heater. He's supposed to be here by 9 am. I'm not sure how long it will take. We can shoot for 11 am or 12 pm. If this is too late we can cancel. It looks like this is a rest week for you so I'm not sure how far or hard you want go. We can me at Freestone Park (west parking lot) and do a lap or two of Tour de Gilbert or we can head north on Lindsey, across Adobe to Recker. North on Recker through Red Mountain to Los Cintas then down McDowell and finishing up with an abbreviated loop of Gilbert or not. I'm open to whatever. If you have a course you like to do instead, I can meet you.

That sounds perfect. Post when the repairman is done, otherwise I'll head out for 11:30ish.

Repairman still isn't here! I called and he said he'd be here at 11am. So if he shows up it looks like the ride will be closer to noon. I hope! The dude must have worked for the cable company before. I'll  keep you posted.

Any riders planning on a Sunday (Jan 27th) ride?  If I have enough notice I can head to the East Valley for some much needed group riding!

I'm back to going long this weekend. If anyone wants to do a hundred miles with a short jog afterwards

If anyone has a route post it and I'll see if I can incorporate it with mine and/or work out the timing to meet up afterwards.

Here's one suggestion to get the creative juices flowing. Mat and I had some fun doing this route yesterday. http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/map.asp?routeid=40772 Also Paulette wants to lead us on a tour of PV.

I'll be in the Valley this weekend.  Depending upon schedule, I'd love to join up with you guys.  Harry - I don't think I can swing the Century brick.  I've got to be back to the in-laws in Scottsdale by about 2:00.  It looked like the map you posted was around 50 miles?  I'd be up for one loop.  Also would be into a tour of PV.

I could probably do the second loop with you and also the run (need the Brick but the century Brick is probably out of my league this week (but not soon!).  What time/pace are you starting so I could meet you on the second revolution?

Ok, I am now back out (sorry) on Sunday, but duty to family roped me into a Scottsdale brunch.  However, anyone thinking about a Saturday ride?

Looks like rain is a definite for Sunday (sis in San Fran has been getting dumped on for the past 3 days and percentage is up to 80%) Josh and I are going to be up in Scottsdale tomorrow around 2-3. Thinking of riding Pima or the PV route PJ likes. If you can't make it PJ can you post a map if you have time?

Anyone interested we can try and meet up!

OK well J and I are going to lunch and then heading north. Not sure if I will be able to check back in before we ride. Might be bringing the mountain bikes if no one wants to tag along.

They are now saying 100% for rain tomorrow so I feel its best to get it in today.

Hey Y'all!  (Have I been in the south too long)?

Due to the forecast calling for rain I am going to do my long run tomorrow (Sunday).  Still sucks to run in the rain, but it sucks less than riding in the rain!

SuperBowl kickoff is 4:18 pm.

Any plans for a ride in the morning so that we can enjoy our barley-pops guilt free.

(Ok, so I'd enjoy them guilt free even if I didn't ride, but it sounds better)
