I'm with Billy....HATE the dreadmill!!!! I use it occasionally but I love running outside, even in the cold...but it hasn't been cold much at all this year....I WANT SNOW!
Thanks for you comments everyone!
I always wear a half size bigger in running shoes.
So cool that Super Bowl is in Indy this year. I've been to Super Bowl city....fun!!! I'm going again tomorrow night...should be even more crowded and more fun! I'll get to see LMFAO! What fun!! If you are familiar with them at all then you know the song: "I'm Sexy and I Know It" some lyrics are: "I'm sexy and I know it....I work out!" LOL Should be a lot of fun!
Back to talking about the dreadmill....as much as I hate it...I don't mind biking on the trainer. How about everyone else?
It wasn't until I got off the treadmill and started running outside that I realized I don't hate running, I hate the treadmill!! It posed some sort of weird security for me (Bathroom availability being a big one, Now I bring paper towels on every run, You just never know!!) I will only go on the treadmill for 3-4 miles tops. I find I can tolerate the cold better running than on the bike. I guess its the speed.
I just bought a trainer this fall. I'm starting to enjoy it. (I much prefer being outside!! Haven't been too many warm days to ride outside this January but more than usual.
The longest I have been on it is 90 minutes. Music and netflixs helps. Would love to try spinervals. I've seen people mention it. Any one have some "old" ones they don't use or any bike training program on dvd? I do try to go to bike trainer class at my gym run by a USAT cert trainer. It is grueling, a major sweat fest. At home, I'm trying to maintain a lower heart rate so it manageable but boring.
