Hey everyone -

Sorry I have been MIA but I am caught up on the thread finally. I have had company (sister, BIL and niece (4yo) and nephew (7yo) in town since Saturday night and things have been busy busy. I have gotten in workouts with them (science center on Monday, walk on tuesday, zoo walk (3 hours) yesterday) but this morning I managed to get out on my own for a bit. Got a 2 mile run and a 1 mile walk in this morning and it felt good. I am part of Team Skinny as well and was disappointed since the scale was up this week (imagine that) so I topped it off with breakfast of egg whites, toast and strawberries. YUM.

Have a great week and keep staying peachy.

I love spending time with family...just goes to show my age! haha

keep up the run/walks..sorry your weight is up!

woke up to a call from the police department where I used to live...looks like an anonymous tip I had left almost 18 years ago...was right on! they are investigating this creep that was married to a good friend of mine for the murder!

Today I'll run for 75 minutes to get my peach. If I have time I will swim 2900 meters. Oh for joy. Why is does my HIM plan have so much swimming??????? Ugh.

Thanks everyone for the kind thoughts/vibes/prayers/karma, etc. The first appointment went well. I really liked the Doctor. She was very easy to talk to and put me at ease. Can I tell you how bad my head hurts though? Holy cow, 45 minutes straight of questions. Ouch. Hard to answer questions too. Oh well, Cole get's his first appointment with her in a few weeks. We won't know anything until May at the earliest. Why do these things take so long????

Can someone please tell me why I volunteered to bake a ton of cookies and cakes for the PTO bake sale tomorrow???? I have a few dozen cookies done, a few dozen little cake things done and still have a dozen or two to go. Ugh! I need to learn to say no.
