Mornin' everyone!  I'm up for my morning run, and it's already 80 friggin' degrees outside (with "only" 83% humidity -- there's a cause for celebration!).  And at 5:00 in the morning we are under an "Excessive Heat Warning" -- what the heck is that???  I'm going to try to get a decent run in, but I may have to resort to treadmill running to finish out this challenge, unless this weather breaks soon!  Can someone send some cool weather my way, or maybe some ice cubes?

It's gonna be in the 60s here again today.   Come on up!

But, it'll be in the 80-90s by the end of the week.  Yay us!

100 here today - with a 20 mi ride / 30min run brick on tap for this evening....

You're a better man than me -- oh wait, I'm not a man.   Honestly, though, I don't know how you do it.  The heat is just dragging me down right now.  I guess I need to quit whining and just suck it up!

Except everyone else is sixteen times as fast as me....

Oh, boy... 29 pages and I finally get my butt over here!  Got through the last few pages... anyone wanna give a recap on the rest, please?

Wait, lemme guess - people ate cookies and pizza, maybe drank some beer or wine, someone got tased.  Oh, and maybe there were some races.

At 60% after a Sprint this weekend.  (RR to come, soon!)  Rainy like it's never gonna stop raining over here in Boston... but still hoping to get another run in tonight.

I had in mind to ride tonight, weather was almost perfect. But my left calf is so unhappy that I decided to give it a break.

I'd like to think this is a "You Know You're a Triathlete When..." moment, when in fact it's just a Me thing.

I totally just made charcoal out of some roasting veggies cause I forgot that my oven was even ON while I was working through the details of my race report!  DOH!

Burnt Kohlrabi (the few pieces that survived) is pretty decent... I bet unscorched it might even be pretty good!

And RR... still unfinished (DOHx2!)

Hm, let's see....

Cookies - check.
Pizza - check.
Beer AND wine - check and check.
Taserings - check.
A race or two - check.

Yep. Looks like you're about caught up.

Pizza,
Chinese food,
Birthday cake.....

So pretty much like us. But without the taserings.

I'll admit I had to google kohlrabi.  Sounds tasty, even charred.
