Hello All!!!

I'm back for a brief time. We got an hour and a half today for lunch instead of an hour. Which really means I have an hour and a half to do 5 hours worth of work without actually having a lunch break.

No worries though. I've got 4 hours and 17 minutes left in my work week then I AM OUTTA HERE!!!!!!!!

I'm not telling the kids I'll be home tomorrow morning, they'll be surprised. I'm planning on making a big breakfast before I get them on the school bus. I won't see them then until I get back. To me that sounds much better than having to say good bye's tonight because I usually leave the house around 4:45 to head to work.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR SUNDAY TO GET HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well wishes on the travel and race Ann(e).  I cannot believe it is here already.  We discussed this in our first challenge month didn't we - seems so long ago

Bet the kids will love having you home!

I don't often get to see them in the mornings so I expect they'll be happy. They like it when I'm around to get them on the bus.

I also expect several emails with pictures they've drawn with Paint while I'm gone. I always get those! Then they'll call me just to make sure I got the email.

I remember those days - now I get can I have a ride and a couple of bucks to go see my friends.  I was warned these days were coming but I didn't believe them.  Enjoy them while they are like that Ann(e)!

My son is 9, I know that these times won't last much longer but I'm hopeful. He and I have always had a very strong bond. My son will give me hugs in public, but not his dad. I hope he never outgrows that.

My daughter on the other hand is attached to my hip. I can't sit down in the house without her sitting beside or on top of me. I have a recliner, they all know that is Mom's chair. If I'm in my chair my daughter is there with me. I keep saying soon we'll have to get one of those extra wide, recliner and a half's or whatever they call the thing.

That is just plain sweet!

My son is actually a lot more loving and is 11.  My daughter is 14 and well you know what that means - her friends are king but I still torture and make her hang out with me from time to time.  Whenever it is a group thing (sledding or fun stuff) I make sure I am around.  The mall - well that is mom time

Bill, Bill, Bill... you are missing out on one of the most fun times in a teens life. Having a parent embarass them at the mall. DH and I used to take the girl to the mall then skip from one end to another singing. Or sometimes dance. Oh, I miss those days.

I have said since my son was a toddler that he has more compassion for people than most adults I know. He is a really great kid. Most days I wouldn't trade him for anything. He totally gets me, too, which is cool.

I hope I don't have to do the mall thing. I hope I don't have to do the mall thing. I hope I don't have to do the mall thing. My daughter is very much a girl though, me... not so much. I think she got it from my sister.

I see the best and worst of my husband and I in both kids. My son is definitely more me though, and my daughter more my husband.

Oh boy, sounds like I am late to another good conversation! I'm just here for a quick drive-by. Just got home from doing a trainer ride at a friend's house, now I am showering and heading to a meeting at work...then a meeting at my teen's school...then to pick up the younger monster at his school...then back to work for the night. I don't have internet access at work (I guess they think we're going to play instead of work or something...), and I have to get my house clean somehow before the sitter gets here. (Shoulda done that last night but the hubby brought home "The Hangover" and made me an appletini...what's a girl to do? )Hope everyone has a good day and I'll see you all tomorrow!

Good morning Ghoulies!!!

Most mornings I get up at 4:00, maybe 4:10 to get ready for work. Today I GOT TO SLEEP IN. Yeah... I was up at 4:36. Can't wait until that translates to 2:30 Arizona time. The good news is we don't get there until late tonight so maybe I'll be able to sleep in until a respectable 6 o'clock hour tomorrow.

I don't know how much I'll be in the village until I get back so all of you take care, take care of each other, and have some fun while I'm gone!

Thank you for all of your support, there will DEFINITELY be some miles dedicated to THE VILLAGE Sunday morning!
