ironannekidd - 2010-08-26 10:11 AM Question for the Ghoulies!

I am looking for a new vehicle, something AWD or 4WD for the winter. I was looking at Ford Escapes and Explorer's, but now I'm thinking Honda Element.

The question is what do you drive?

Along with the motorcycles, we have a Chevy Silverado, which my husband mostly drives, and I drive a Chevy Aveo.

Element would be my choice if you don't need to seat more than 4 ever.  That is all it seats or I would own 2

4 is all I need. If I need to haul more than that we can take the truck, or my inlaws have an 8 person van we can borrow.

Then the element.  But I am partial

We've got a CR-V that we love...and I can say that even though I'm the one who wanted an Element.  My wife really didn't get how cool it was that you could hose it out.  I had a friend who used to do that after her young kids would drop french fries and stuff everywhere.

Then again, our Cr-V is one of the old small SUV types rather than the weird looking crossover things I have seen lately.  If I got one of those, I'd totally push for the wood paneling on the door.

wgraves7582 - 2010-08-26 8:01 AM Just no talk about Fantasy Football ok!

My wife is trying to get me to draft her team this year...again.  I hate her league because it's mainly another family's league and they are constantly shifting the rules.  She's also had the last pick 2 out of 3 years, even though someone is supposedly drawing the names at random.

Thankfully, she's come in 3rd two out of 3 years and 5th in the other.  Her sister beat her one year but she's had bragging rights most of the time.

Hey Ghoulies.

I am home from surgery. It went well. Last night in the hospital was absolutely horrible. Lots of pain. But today, not so much. I don't have black eyes yet and not too much swelling. I am sure the success was due to all the good Ghoulie JU JU you sent!!

I'll have adult beverage of choice and food when you all get here on your bike ride.1

Nissan Pathfinder. V8. Leather. Sunroof. 3rd row. Loooove it. Except for the gas mileage. That part sucks.

And no, I'm not spoiled

Glad the surgery went well, Robin!

If we'd have known you were in that much pain we could have stopped by the hospital last night in our super spandex gear and delivered adult beverages to you there.

Nice!

I drive too far every day to not get good gas mileage.

Hey Ghouls! Morning! Sorry about my MIAness. Haha. I am sufficiently wreaked this morning. I ran my first 28k yesterday in prob 28C and got a bit burnt (well more than a bit...wooo pasty whiteness) had to stop at a golf course to refill water because I seriously underestimated my fluid intake and probably should have taken 1 more gel, but I guess it went okay. My azz seemed to cooperate. I got home and took an ice bath and have had my compression tights on since. Mildly achy right now, but it def could be worse. hope everyone has had a good few days!
