I made my goal last night!

Cross race today...it was fun..lots of falling on slippery pavement but not for me..rode off the course once after riding around someone that fell and was done on a tough slipper corner but was able to duck under the tape, u turn, and ride back ducking under tape again. Had a scary moment when my front tire got between someone's leg and her frame/pedal but neither of us fell..I freaked her out though.

I've still got 9-1/2 hours to get in my 1-1/5 hours of running and/or walking.  Don't count me out yet.

Please update your spreadsheet with your October Run totals by 6 PM EST Sunday Nov 1st.

I'll pull the numbers on Sunday evening, and announce the FINAL RESULTS of the October Halloween Run Challenge then.

Hey guys,

I know that pilotncommand172 hasn't been logging any workouts. Here's my procedure for dealing with missing team members:
1) The Team Captain sends a PM to the missing person.
2) Other team members can leave inspires, but only the Team Captain should send the PM. (This is to avoid the person feeling like he/she is being stalked! )
3) If the person doesn't reply to the PM, the Team Captain should notify me.
4) I will then check the person's logs to determine:
-- a) How long it has been since they last logged anything.
-- b) When their last BT logon date occurred.
-- c) Whether their last log entries mentioned any issues/problems.

Based upon that, here's what I found:
pilotncommand172:
Last BT logon: 2009-10-31 10:34 PM <-- This was last night.
Last logged workout: October 23rd.
Last blog entry: October 23rd. No problem/issues indicated.
PM sent by Team Captain? Yes.
Replied to: No

This case wasn't as straightforward as some of the others (where people just disappeared off BT completely, or else had illnesses/injuries going on). That said, I don't want to penalize the team, so I'm going to remove his total from the spreadsheet. If he gets back onto BT today and logs some runs, then we can add his numbers back in. And we'll just wish him the best, and hope that things are going well for him.

So, with his total removed, that takes your team to 96.7% right now.

Dee

AND NOW....
The moment you've all been WAITING for.....
THE FINAL RESULTS OF THE OCTOBER HALLOWEEN RUN CHALLENGE

1st place - Show us your Ghoulies - 99.5%
2nd place - E.V.I.L. Running Reapers - 98.7%
3rd place - Crypt Keepers - 97.6%
4th place - Running Pumpkins - 96.7%

The winning team, Show us your Ghoulies may add a signature line: "My team won the Annual Halloween Run Challenge!"

All other teams are, technically, losing teams. BUT since all teams had such high completion rates, I'm going to waive the "penalty avatar changes."

And, of course, we can't forget about the SECONDARY CHALLENGE aka the POST PADDING CHALLENGE! With 5 threads to their name, this should come as a surprise to no one....
The winner of the Post Padding Challenge is:
Show us your Ghoulies!!!

GREAT JOB, EVERYONE!

I hope you all enjoyed yourselves, and achieved your goals this month.

See you in the next challenge!
