Amy needs a little less than 2 hrs to meet her goal - just let me know who's willing to help out - so far I have Pam and Gerald, I'll have to figure out the math and see where we are at. you guys ROCK! Um. Can we do that? I thought we could go to 120% of our goals, and get credit for it. But I didn't know we could donate to another teammate. Let me know. I'm at 126% of my goal. So I'd just figured I was losing the extra 6%. But if I can donate it to Cat... That would be nice. |

Individuals who achieve more than their committed goal will not have these additional swims counted in the first 3 weeks of the challenge (so increase your goal!!!) EXCEPTION: In the final week of the challenge team members may exceed 100% (up to 120% max,) and use their additional data to assist team members who are struggling to reach their goal. |

OK, but we can only go to 120% of goal, right? For example, I'm at 126% now. But that extra 6% doesn't count? Or, can I donate it to Cat, if she's sick? |

Expert 1112 I'm a Tennessee girl living in SoCal. | Subject: RE: Rebellious Reindeer I read it to mean that anything from 100.1% up to 120% may be donated to a fellow team member during the final week. Anything in excess of 120% doesn't count for anyone -- yourself or a fellow team member. |

Anything in excess of 120% doesn't count for anyone -- yourself or a fellow team member. that sounds right to me OK, that's how I read it, too. I guess that I didn't think of it as a direct "yardage" donation though. So, for example, say one team member falls 1000 yds short. Then someone can donate 1000 yds to him/her? And you can keep donating to your teammates, until you've reached 120% of your goal? Interesting. I hadn't been thinking of it that way. But that would be really helpful. Thanks! |

Expert 1112 I'm a Tennessee girl living in SoCal. | Subject: RE: Rebellious Reindeer As promised, I got in 40 mins in the pool tonight for Amy. Hope you're feeling better!! By my math, that basically maxes me out for the challenge. Since my initial goal was 4 hours of swimming, then 48 minutes total would be my extra 20% overage allowance. So, if we end up needing them, I still have 8 minutes I could put in for someone. |

Yeah...papa Parco is 73 and tries to swim 800 yds, at least 3 days a week. I hope I can still do that when I'm in my 70s. Well, I guess I'll be close...hoping to do an IM when I'm 49. That's like being 70, isn't it? |
