Hope tomorrow goes better for you! Hmm... I'll train to that. IF... they aren't late opening the Y. IF... I don't get have a flat and break all my tire levers. Oh wait. Both of those happened today. Bleh.... did what I could. How's everybody. Feel like I've been gone for years. No travelling for work tomorrow. Yay! Going the bike shop to help my mom look at bikes, too. Yay! I took an old as dirt schwin ATB and rebuilt the thing into a "beach" cruiser for her. The entire project cost $100 with new paint, cables, handlebars, seat, etc. The pops said if she stuck with it he'd get her a new one. Well, she did, and it's SUMMERTIME (almost), so I'm meeting her at the the shop tomorrow to make pops and his dollars stick their word. I love spending other people's money on bike stuff. |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Team Olympic Onions Rings I had hoped to swim today. As usual though, work interfered.... I got home FINALLY, and really just felt like crashing on the couch in front of the TV, where I could be brain dead for awhile.... Then I figured that if we end up in Last Place this month, well, it's not going to be on account of me. So I got off the couch, and did a 30 min weights session. Result --> I'm at 100% of my strength sessions! Yay! Of course, my swimming is lagging now, so I'll have to figure out how to get in enough swim sessions so that I can hit my swim goal, too. Yes, I APPEAR to be a little ahead (in terms of percentages completed). BUT next week is going to be tough, so I won't have a lot of workout time then. Edited by D001 2008-04-22 8:38 PM |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: Team Olympic Onions Rings Hi everyone, I've been getting a lot of questions about penalties for the losers. The two teams with the lowest overall percentages for the month will have to change their avatar to something with a flower (April showers bring May flowers...). If you are on a losing team, it doesn't matter what your percentages are, just that you are on one of the teams with the lowest percentage. Let me know if you have any questions! -Jen Edited by Artemis 2008-04-23 11:01 AM |
