Sshhh...don't tell. Please don't ask COJ on how to fix the S*P*A*M, malware, etc. when the PC is hit. Yeah. Because the New York Times online is soooo evil and will take down the PC in two minutes. I understand the need for firewalls and all, but this really is extreme, and I am a pretty conservative surfer. You know, safe sex, and all. And I've never had a SPAM, malware, virus problem. Ever. (Although eating dinner at 10 PM isn't going to make me feel wonderful. But I've already missed lunch.) Someone toss me a peach, please! Ten minutes of activity. Yeah. I can do that. I just find it amusing that people use that line all the time after I fix the problem. I'm a smartazz and don't deny that. I even give shat to my own fellow IT people that screw things up. I've been there and have done that. Don't take it so personal. There was a line in a movie that went - "LIGHTEN UP, FRANCIS." And, we can always say "It's Deeder's fault". |

Champion 6225 | Subject: RE: Taser Roasted Peeps II HI TRPs.... i felt AWFUL last night. terrible headache, body aches, sore throat. i havent felt THAT sick in a long time. but today, so odd, i dont feel so bad. i fully expected to go down for the count with this one. when i woke up i felt like total crap, but now, not so much. i guess going to bed at 7:00 last night helped some. gonna take it easy inspiteof and drinks lots of fluids. im thinking of making some homemade chicken noodle soup. my throat is what is bothering the most - so popsicles are on the grocery list, that maybe some gingerale. popsicles and gingerale make EVERYTHING better, dont you think?
as bad as i was feeling last night, i was actually concerned i might have mono.....though im thinking w the sore throat, might be strep. my brother has been sick for two weeks now, almost identical symptoms, and it wasnt strep, he was taking antibiotics, but they didnt help so the Dr said it must be a virus. somethings going around i guess....dodged every bullet through cold/flu season. serves me right for being 'smug' about it
my kids are off school today (bad timing) but my husband was going to take a 1/2 day at work, its my youngest sons birthday today. im hoping maybe he'll take them to the Y and i can take a nap in this afternoon.....
i thought i would go without a peach yesturday, and then realized i spent at least 30 mins cleaning my kids rooms before i started feeling crappy. running the sweeper, up and down the steps w bags of unidentifiable things from the undersides of their beds and closets. all three of my boys 'collect' little pieces of this and that....my oldest son LIVES to take things apart, and then scatters the random pieces of whatnots around his room....OI!
so, anyway. i went ahead and logged 30 mins of homeimprovement time. im hoping to get in at least 10 mins on the indoor trainer or a quick ab workout or stretching today. i can at least do THAT for a peach.... and then if im feeling as good (or better) on Saturday as i do right now, then i should be able to get in my 2 hr spin on saturday.
thanks for the well-wished in my inspire box! im feeling MUCH better already. keepin it peachy! stacieb Edited by skrtrnr 2009-03-27 8:44 AM |

Start being a hardazz on them and get them picking up their stuff! My wife and I get on our 12 and 10 year old boys, and they help with the housework. They complain a little, but it is THEIR mess, too! It's good for them. |
