running4beer - 2009-06-22 7:10 PM I'd like to think this is a "You Know You're a Triathlete When..." moment, when in fact it's just a Me thing.

I totally just made charcoal out of some roasting veggies cause I forgot that my oven was even ON while I was working through the details of my race report! DOH!

Burnt Kohlrabi (the few pieces that survived) is pretty decent... I bet unscorched it might even be pretty good!

And RR... still unfinished (DOHx2!)

I'll admit I had to google kohlrabi.  Sounds tasty, even charred.

I had to google it, too.  We just started up with a CSA farm share and I couldn't identify 2 of 6 items in this delivery.  Then I had to google a second time to figure out what to do with em.  Then I burned em.  :P  Consequently, they're quite delicious raw.  I should've just done a simple pickle.

So, yeah... I went from all healthy to CHEESE FOR DINNER!  My favorite!  If I didn't know better, I'd think my sub-cheese-loving-conscious was sabotaging those veggies for a treat.

disturbed275 - 2009-06-22 7:25 PM Well, now that my training is done I am off to get some dinner, which I may wash down with a beer

That makes two of us, I'm on beer #2. I'm in Wisconsin after all

Are you gnawing on a big ol block of cheese too?
Gnaw it? I thought they wore it....

That would be awesome if it was edible AND functional

You could bring a snack with you EVERYWHERE!

Plus, it might be able to double as a bike helmet.

I sense a new IM fueling breakthrough.  You'd have to make it a little more aerodynamic than the wedge shape though

Isn't that kind of sacrilegious, vikings attire on a  packers cheesehead?

Thanks. I felt something was wrong with that picture. But couldn't quite figure out what.

LOL! I obviously don't live in the northern US.

Yeah, I share borders with both states.  And I dislike both teams.  Probably because of the annoying attire
