rnihill - 2010-10-14 6:25 AM And Melissa - I have to say that your mask FREAKS me out!  I'm very glad it's all nice and sunny here while I'm home all alone.  Laughing

So did you watch Friday the 13th last night and are now paying the consequences? At home. Alone. All by yourself.

No I didn't...  I was too scared.  I am a super chicken.

The only time a movie ever bugged me was when I was eating while watching Poltergeist. You remember the scene when the steak crawled across the counter and then the guy pulled the skin off his face. Other than that, it doesn't bug me. The first time I watched Exorcist was at home all by myself sitting right in front of the tv with all the lights off. The last scary movie we watched was The Others (was it supposed to be scary?) My wife doesn't like scary.

I used to love scary.  But now I just don't like scary when I'm home alone.

The most scared I have ever been was several years ago when my DH and I were watching that movie with Mel Gibson about the aliens invading, or something like that.  I can't remember the name.  It was snowing outside and we were at this really creepy part and all of a sudden there was a HUGE crash right outside the back door.  The weight of the snow had caused the roof over our back steps to crash down.  Fortunately we were only renting...  but it scared the living daylights out of us!

The movie is Signs.

My wife is kind of funny about scary things. She gets scared really easily. One time I came home from work. The garage door opener we had at the time was very loud and it would rattle the whole house. I come inside and call out to my wife. I walk through upstairs calling out to her and couldn't find her. I go down the squeaky stairs and she is in the laundry room. I start to say something and she screams. She didn't hear me come in.

billsorg - 2010-10-14 11:03 AM Good morning POSTING MACHINES!
Heading to the gym in about 15 minutes for a spin class.  I'm still a little behind on goals, but have grand plans to make it up (and then some) over the next couple of weeks.

Melissa... best treatment for that sore foot is R.I.C.E.... Rest, Ice, Compression & Elevation.  You'll be back to 100% in no time!

Ooooh...  spin class!  I haven't been to one in ages but that could be a fun way to spice things up for me.

Yes, that's it!  Thank you, that would have bugged me all day.

Too funny...  although my husband does that to me all the time too.

All that talk of oatmeal got me craving a bowl. Tasty stuff except that my milk is expired. It always tastes better with milk.

I need to go for a little run. My legs are feeling a little tight. Maybe I'll do a little shorter ride at lunch so I can squeeze in a short run as well.

How about....

"I came here to pick a fight with second place"

Saw it on a youtube video - something about a vs. promo ad.

only did one workout yesterday.  thinking about a long run tonight.  unfortunately I simply laid in bed this morning thinking about working out.   I wish that burned calories.  I fear I am moving to slackerville.  I don't want to live there!

Once you live in Slackerville, its hard to move out. It takes a lot of work to get out of there.
