Hmmm that's something I miss now that the kids are grown. I cannot steal the good stuff.

The place with the Boston Shakes had been in the family for years. They had a good business. They sold it to someone else and they ran it into the ground in less than a year. They tried to change everything. If you have a good business going why is it necessary to change things.

There is another place we used to go to that had good ice cream, but also other food. They had the best burgers. They would put them in potato rolls and squished them just right. Someone bought them and they started skimping on everything. No more potato rolls, no more squished just right. We've ordered milkshakes and watched them put the cup on a scale and add the ice cream. The prices went up and the quality went down. We stop there maybe twice a year now if we're on the way home.

There was a place on the edge of Gettysburg that was locally owned. They just had ice cream and related frozen treats an they were really good. They were always busy. The guy sold out to a Bruster's, which is a chain. In the agreement he isn't allowed to own another ice cream place in Gettysburg.

The place I just mentioned about the potato rolls is for sale and rumor is he is thinking about buying it. It is outside of Gettysburg, but may have a Gettysburg address. His lawyers are looking into it is the rumor. I hope he does buy it.

I am back for a few minutes!  Bone Density Scan was easy.  I will get the official report in the mail, but they said all looked good.  Made a quick stop at DH's work and at the grocery, then home.  I have to go to work in about an hour.  First appointment canceled.
