Morning Ghoulies

I got Amy on top in the Morning! It is going to be a good day!

Not much. Keri and I went down to the school, the 8th and 9th graders were going to scrimmage. We ended up getting rained on. It rained HARD. The football team kept practicing. We heard some thunder and saw lightning, they should have stopped. We had left windows open at home, so when we got home I had to clean that mess up. Didn't get out for a run, I don't run in lightning. I did some laundry, made dinner, and that was about it.

Tonight the girl has softball practice. I'll take her to practice before the boy gets home, it's going to be a long day.

I was some of your votes yesterday.  I try to do some when sitting on the phones at the library.  I did a few more today.  Not sure we can catch up 10K between now and next Sat, but we will give it the good old college try.  Wish I knew of a group of people who had nothing else to do.  Guess the library would get mad if I asked my staff to all do 100 votes everyday for the next 6 days.  That would only be 7200 votes, so I guess I'll tell them they all need to do 200 or more votes.  I can see the headlines now.  Branch Manager fired for using staff for Marathon entry.

I just got introduced to rockmyrun.com  It has some great mixes that can be downloaded for runs.  Brooks has a free 40 minute download right now.  It's pretty good.

Good morning Ghoulies!

I'm hurt. I was helping out at softball practice last night. I took a ball right to the knee cap, a ball to the nose, fortunately my sunglasses took the brunt of that, but I do have a small mark on my nose. I took a ball to the cheekbone, bounced off my glove, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been. I took a ball to the elbow, one to the forearm, and one to the shin. I also worked with 2 of the pitchers last night. I threw a zillion softballs last night, but it was the one where I felt the POP in my shoulder, and have had pain there ever since that bothers me. I think I may have a pinched nerve. I have that tingly pins and needles feeling, and it feels like blubber when I try to lift my arm above my head. I'm going to look up some stretches, or yoga poses for it and we will see what happens.

Dang Ann! It sounds like you need full body armor with those kids! Hope the shoulder feels better. If it doesn't go see about it. ASAP! You won't be able to kayak with a messed up shoulder.

Nope. But I didn't do anything bad either

Just cooked dinner and lolled on the porch for a while. Now I am off to work in the yard again after taking yesterday off. The poison ivy has set in nicely, hopefully I won't add to it today.

I slept so sound last night that my shoulder is sore today.  I guess I didn't flip over enough.  But that is better than the night before when I only slept a few hours.
