ARRRGH! I just went to get my chocolate biccies out of he cupboard and they have been EATEN!!!

THIS is why I eat so much junk... because if I dont eat it IMMEADIATLEY when I buy it he goes in and eats it all... not thinking that I paid for it and might be saving it... or intending on eating it over several days rather than in one sitting....

I seriously might have to start hiding the food in my room (well stuff that doesnt need refridgeration)

Am I being petty?

1) What's a biccie? (Just when you think you understand English..... LOL) 2) No, you're not being petty. It's your food. This is a pretty common complaint among roommates.... What would happen if you put a note on it saying, "Please do not eat this!"

Cookie? Biscuit?

We share food etc but it really bugs me for some reason when he will eat something Ive bought as a treat - its bad because if I buy something yummy I now eat too much of it because i Know if I leave it lying around it will be gone the next time I want it.

He will replace what he has eaten if I ask... but by the time that actually happens it could be Tuesday by which point... well its not like I want it anymore...

Artemis - 2008-01-26 3:35 PM I don't think you made it any more confusing. It seems to make sense, but it would be nice to see it all in practice. I think that would clear it up a lot for me.

umm yeah... makes more sense if yuo watch it...

I found that watching the superbowl (a few years ago) it still seems ridiculous to me but seeing it on tv mean it made a lot more sense...

Thats how I learnt AFL as well. (Aussie footy

Am I being petty?

Is this your roommate eating your food? If so, I don't think that's petty at all. My roommates and I had an agreement that we wouldn't eat other people's food except for basics like butter, milk, sugar, etc. It drove me crazy when they would eat lots of my stuff because I never ate theirs and I didn't shop as often as they did.

My husband eats my food sometimes and I feel a little petty getting mad at him. Still, sometimes he should know not to eat my chocolate or ice cream.

Thats the thing we do the food thing together realy.... I get money from him and buy the food for dinner plus the basics like milk

But in addition to that during the week I might spend another amount of money on other food I might want to have... snacks for work, or home, treats like single serve ice creams or something like that... I just dont think he thinks that I dont want him eating it...

And doesnt really distinguish between the food I buy for us both and stuff I buy extra...

Oh well... I might just start getting him to bring stuff home during the week more often...

And he does do most of the cleaning which is why I dont complai too much... just when you are watching what you eat... finding your treats missing can be very frustrating! And feeling you need to eat it all or it will go missing is not helpful...

Sorry Im venting! I had the same issue with my ex... I think its a few years pent up frustration!

Yeah, that's what I figured, too. LOL

So I decided to go with the losing Super Bowl team, instead.

Although -- I'm getting kind of accustomed to "Billy." LOL

Do they have other "glitter" effects?

Some are better than others on a particular pic.

Oh, you're using glitterfy.com -- try the BIG glitter stars...

I think it's the first option.

I think I need a different picture with less of a background for the glitter effects to work well.  This one has too much going on already.  It's cute, though, so maybe I'll hold off on the glitter until I feel like changing my avatar again.

That's why I thought the BIG stars might work better. The little hearts get lost in the background....

Good morning, Nibbs!

I just signed up for the Feb. challenge. 40 miles of running. Egads. I don't know if I can do that. I hope so since I'm racing a 10K March 1st. Just a tad worried since I haven't run even 4 miles straight, let alone race 6.2! Trying desperately to stifle the "I hate running, running sucks" emotions that are trying to come to the surface.

Just had to vent. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Good morning!!

I felt that way when I was first running.  I think at some point you'll decide on a run that you are going to keep going even if you hate it and suddenly you'll realize you actually like it.  It's a bit crazy.

I'm with you on the Feb challenge, though.  Running 60 miles.  I have a half-mary on March 16th.

Hm, allowing people to sign up via spreadsheet is sounding better and better. Now, I don't have to go crazy sorting through 19 pages of posts, trying to see who has requested to be teammmates with whom.... You guys can go in and modify the comments on your entries -- and it's all in one easy-to-find place, alongside your goal.

Yay! I'm all for simplifying my life. LOL
