Morning Ghoulies!
kids have off school today, and wanted to buzz through and give you an update.
things at the Y are going swimmingly. i swear. its a pity they pay me, im having so much fun.
i was able to score more hours this evening. yay!
im still humming along, making contacts for joseph, scheduling venues for his tour. he pushed back his dates to mid-March which gives me time to pursue some other options.
ive met some amazing people along the way. what a beautiful circle that is. and im so grateful that joseph invited me to come in and partake.
they're all healers in one form or another, and/or artists. beautiful, generous souls, each and everyone.
and on the homefront, WE HAVE A CLOSING DATE.
can we all say YAY.
my husband bought a townshouse
(next development over, down the street
) and he'll be closing on Feb 26th.
having a date helps, on so many levels.
(if you've been reading my blog you know
) the kids are doing reasonably well considering the circumstances. ive been grateful for the fact that im in a really good place mentally/emotionally so that i can be 'there' for them.
i think the fact that i 'have it together'
(not that i dont have my private moments
) is really reassurring to the kids.
and even though this is all taking a bit longer than i had anticipated, my husband and i have managed to stay amicable throughout
(except his temporary moment of insanity
)
the kids are assured, that even though some things in their life about to change, there are some things that always remain the same.
mostly, that they have a mom and dad that love them, that will be there for them, always.
as for next months challenge, im SO on a food/weightloss challenge.
i was actually able to lose 7 lbs over the holidays
(i know, score one for me...
) but i REALLY REALLY REALLY need to get back on track w eating whole/raw/clean again.
so heres to me.
heres to us!
ONWARD GHOULIES!
