Yeah, it's not good. The firetrucks just went by, too. We're getting hit pretty hard right now. On the radar map we're in the pink. We should be back in the orange soon, then the green for awhile. I'm getting squished between my kids right now.

Guess what? There's good juju in the air somewhere, I know there is. How do I know? Because I made it out on the road, on my bike, for the first time since I crashed. I was hoping maybe it would happen next weekend, but a friend called me and said she was out, heading downhill, and had someone who would pick us up and bring us home. Seeing as it was over 55 degrees, there is no snow onthe ground, and I wouldn't have to depend on being able to get up out of the saddle or hang on to the handlebars mashing back uphill, I took a chance and went. (Mind you, this is the same friend who I was with when I crashed in January...so she kinda owed me a decent experience, LOL). 7 plus miles flat and downhill. My kind o' bike ride!

SO, I am sending out some of my good gouhlie juju tonight. Stay safe everyone! See you sometime Sunday.

It was a scary night. I saw that Kim finally got landed. I sure would not have wanted to fly through that ca-ca!

It is beautiful today but really really windy again. Hope to get some outdoor stuff done but we will see.

Happy Sunday, Ghouligans. Had a nice day after yesterday's travel woe's. Slept in then ran a few errands. Bought new patio furniture. Yeah!!!! Will be delivered this week. My old set was hauled off last fall. It was 20 + years old and rusted out beyond repair. I'm definitely feeling spring coming on. There is a robin building a nest in the tree outside my kitchen window. I hope this year has a better outcome though. Last year something got into her eggs and tossed them out of the nest. 

Oh, and I did get a brief run in. Nothing much, but better than nothing.

not sure when i will back in the Village today.

what w the short week, im trying to cram in my clients in 3 days.  should be INTERESTING.

i made i through the weekend relatively 'unscathed' lol....

i met up with some friends (unexpectedly) on Friday night.  slept in.  worked most of the day Saturday - two clients and LOTS of paperwork and then met up with a friend for dinner and dessert Saturday night.

then work at the Y and a bridal shower Sunday afternoon.

before i knew it the boys were home.

nobody caught a single fish. 

i asked the boys what they liked the best about the weekend - GET THIS....

BURNING chairs in the fire.  LOL.  apparently my brother had some deteriorated lawn/patio furniture he decided to use as firewood.

at least it wasnt an entire box of fireworks that he threw on the fire like he did a few years back.

im happy to report everyone returned w all the fingers, toes and other various appendages INTACT.  WOOSH.

boys will be boys.  and like i always say.....what happens at fishing camp STAYS at fishing camp.

its a swim for me in between all the stuff i gotta do for work.  1600.

a run tomorrow.

and another swim on Wednesday.

a spin on Thursday.

rest day on Friday.

something on Saturday...not sure.  maybe a spin.

and EASTER ON SUNDAY!!!

Good morning Ghoulies!

Hi Stacie!

Saturday night was pretty rough at our house. Between storms, high winds, and flooding there wasn't a lot of sleep at my house. Other than the loss of sleep we didn't have any damage at our house.

My husband spent several hours Saturday night between 3 different houses helping keep basements pumped out. He didn't get home until a little after 2:00. My son knew there was a tornado watch until 11:00, so he stayed in my bed until then. He also isn't a fan of the wind, but once the watch expired I put him in his room so I could get some sleep. I had to get up early to go to SAR training.

My friend and I get to the meeting spot for training, and he checked his email, something he said he wanted to do before he left the house, and found out that training was cancelled. He had a travel bug and asked if I minded geocaching with him, I didn't, so we headed into the mountains anyway. On our travels we passed a lot of places that had flooding over night. Even to hit the trail for the geocache we crossed some water that was probably not the safest. We hiked a little over a mile uphill, found the cache, then on the way back down I did some hideaways off the trail for his dog to find me.

We got back to their place, I hung out a few minutes, then I headed home to take a nap. I WAS TIRED!

I got up at 4:20. I got dressed. I had a glass of chocolate milk. Then I went to the gym!

I did 30:56 on a spin bike, then I did some strength training, just legs today, tomorrow will be upper body and core if I don't do that at home tonight.

Yea Ann!!!!

They are gone and the DH is swearing in the kitchen. I am running away.
