Who can keep their head straight when I'm around throwing kisses anyway? Happy 9000th post. Maybe we should monitor the male/female ratio? Um, why? We already know what the outcome will be. LOL |

Royal(PITA) 14270 West Chester, Ohio | Subject: RE: Nibbs XVI D001 - 2008-03-04 8:09 PM I was just referring to the spread sheets and somehow making that part easier on the site so we don't have a bunch of folks mucking stuff up on the google sheets then expecting it to be magically fixed by another person...I do like the variety and differences in the challenges as well as how they get set up...zipp1 - 2008-03-04 9:03 PM Actually, I'm for leaving it more UNstructured. Part of the fun of the challenges is that you never know what the next one will be like. I'd think that if it's the same every month, it would start to get a little boring. But, as it is now, there's a lot you can do with it. Cat's Challenges are different from mine - Because Cat plans it out differently than I do. And if someone else runs it, like Donto, it's also different. But, to me, that's part of what makes it interesting. (Albeit, it also means it's more work. LOL) kaqphin - 2008-03-04 7:56 PM Those that think it's disorganized aren't factoring in all the volunteer time in planning and setting up the whole challenge IN ADDITION to a full time job and training. There is also a small group who will whine no matter what is done to meet their requests. The challenge forum is open to everyone but some folks are slower at making friends in the process. D001 - 2008-03-05 12:53 PM kaqphin - 2008-03-04 8:37 PM Actually Dee all your help with the challenge with the spreadsheets nad answering google advice/team html lists... has been exactly what Ive needed to keep it low pressure... That would work! It is good to do it with someone else, I think. The challenge where Beth was the Official Greeter was easier for me, too. I didn't feel like I need to do that along with everything else. I don't mind doing the spreadsheets -- As long as I can still play tag on the team threads. LOL That's been fun.
We should do it again sometime... the workload this time around has (comparitively) been much more managable that previous challenges so its been something I might not mind taking on more regualry... Then again maybe 4 times a year is enough... Im sure there are otehrs that want to run challenges right? Im sure to those that dont know us its seemed really disorganised... but hey! Like iVe said - you get what you pay for... and well Im not being paid... I even pay BT for my membership! I know I was a lot more timid in TdF than I am now--how many challenges later? Maybe once Marmadaddy has a better handle on things we can pull him in with helping program some stuff for the challenges so it's less work to maintain things once set up--just change the specifics of each challenge and the teams based o who is participating that month |

Ok then here is a suggestion - if anyone has any queries that they regularly get asked about challenges then ket me know and I will add it to my original post... then we can sticky it and add other FAQ's as they come up.... Im happy to monitor the thread and it should make everyones lives easier in the future |

LOL) Also, it depends upon who's writing the spreadsheet. I've been trying to make them as simple as possible.... Donto, on the other hand, well, read his quote in my sig line. |

Hey, poor, sick Tinkerbeth... yes, I stopped in for a quick hello before heading to the gym for a run on the dreadmill (still chilly weather around here). Speaking of cycles... if any of you ladies are ready to "call it quits"... and wrap up the reproduction option... consider Novasure's Endometrial Ablation... I had it done 13 months ago... FABULOUS... I finally re-claimed my life. |
